More interviews, Patrick!

Edited by LibrorumProhibitorum

I love females with skulls, and I love interviews.

Edited by DevourerOfTime

More interviews and more Skullgirls? That's a win-win right there.

I'm really looking forward to that game coming out on PC ! I donated as soon as I read your excellent piece about it, Patrick !

Oh by the way, is there a reason why the interviews are so far apart from the features ? Or is it just because you don't want to post the interview and the article at the same time ? Anyway, love your articles, keep up the good work :'D

NOTHING STOPS THE INTERVIEW DUMPTRUCK

Edited by NekuCTR

A follow through interview based solely on a higher than average volume of comments. Now this is what I call fucking dialog. Sometimes I have to step back and realize how amazing a thing Giant Bomb actually is. Amazing work Patrick.

This is actually the original interview that I used to craft part of the story. I have some plans for how to do a follow-up, though.

@box3ru13: I can confirm that is at least one of the most awesome things to come from it. Right after Robo-Fortune. Beep Boop Meow.

So you weren't a fan of the Dead Island bust then?

@zamir: Horse Tauntaun Woman turned out to be way less disturbing than I expected.

Patrick sounds like a proper journalist in his interviews. Good on ya.

In their weekly livestream Salty Cupcakes that was on yesterday, Mike Z gave a comparison of gave dev costs with star wars battlefront 2 which he worked on. He stated that it cost $28 million to make, and if it theoretically took half the budget (it didn't it costed 1/4 according to him) for level design and implementation, that's leaves $14 million. if you divide that by every unit, hero and vehicle (80), you get $175k per character. That's not taking into account the leftover assets from being a sequel and duplicates.

so that's 175k for a re-texture and new particle effects.

I'll try to keep an eye on this thread to answer any more questions people have, too.

Did Patrick even play Skullgirls, haha?

In any case, good to see success like this, industry's a tough place.

This dumptruck is backing up and dumping questions and answers all over you.

If the bust came with an interview then maybe I would've liked it more.

I enjoyed this.

After listening to this, I have decided that Patrick should pursue a career in narrating audiobooks.

Are interviews only going to be available as MP3 downloads, and not available to iTunes?

Posted by ROD5RIG

@roninautomaton: You can subscribe to the RSS feed manually in iTunes by going to File > Subscribe to Podcast and pasting in the URL of the RSS feed.

Agreed. iTunes feed would be fantastic.

I had no idea this was a podcast and not an article until just now.
