Ubisoft Montpellier's take on the first World War is a surprisingly heartfelt adventure.
Many games try to use nostalgia to lure you in, but few of them are as well-made as Shovel Knight.
Watch Dogs is a solid open-world game that doesn't do enough to set itself apart from the pack.
After back-to-back PAX East and GDC, it's a decidedly low-key week on the Bombcast. We fight off the malaise with spoiler-free BioShock Infinite talk, Ouya impressions, Metal Gear Solid V thoughts, and more!
why is there two?
I am torn.
Delicious Cast is hot and ready for consumption (or sitting)
I'll download the two, even though they're the same. Or are they?
Tun tun tun.
clever bioshock reference duders
THE BOMBCAST IS HERE!!!!!!!! THE BOMBCAST WAS HERE!!!! THE BOMCAST WILL BE HERE!!!!!
Whoop Whoop! It's up just in time for me to download it before heading out. Boo yah!
spoiler free bioshock talk? although i'm sure people who haven't finished the game will appreciate that, i was hoping for some deep, down and dirty ending talk!
Perfect, I JUST finished crosshing a Jar bridge.
Only 2 hours?
I'll take that as an act of malice. Bastards.
I like at least this brief return of the 2 hour-ish bombcasts. I find myself spacing and not paying attention to 50% of the extended ones. These are way more easily digested and enjoyable for me.
This picture is making me very hungry.
there will be something to that end later in the week. At least, that's what they said in ILM.
It's coming. Be patient
do they spend the entire Metal Gear discussion shitting on it cause that is never fun
Haha, I had the same Bioshock 'shock'. I laid in bed for 2 hours thinking about the ending.
Thank you Bombcast gods, now I have something to listen to while working.
Oh snap, early bombcast?!
I can't play Bioshock until tomorrow, so would someone here be so nice to tell me when they start talking about it and when they stop? I really want to try to hear as little as possible, eben if they don't spoil a single thing.
So hey guys, I started playing Bioshock the other day. Bioshock 1 that is.
It's pretty good.
Effing A it is.
@patrickklepek You can get a trimmer for about $20 on amazon. Anything will work, you just need something with an adjustable and REMOVABLE guard. That's key because you wanna be able to take it off so you can just get down to stubble without it. Beyond that, you should just use whatever you used before to get clean shaven. No need to invest in anything expensive. I use a $20 trimmer for my facial hair and maintaining a high and tight, it works great. Razor is best for clean shaves, so don't get an electric shaver with a trimmer end, because that'll be slow and shitty for both. If you want to shape your facial hair, use a razor for that. It's easier to control, and gives you a cleaner, closer shave.
@jeff I think the reason David spoke out was because people were talking, not because he just decided to speak on it. I think he has the right to announce that he wasn't even approached because A) he was a part of the franchise for so long and B) a lot of people will care about that information. Confirming he isn't the voice actor in MGS5 doesn't really come off as a dick move at all. He's just informing folks. And what I've read from him was pretty down to earth. He wasn't upset, he was just communicating with his fans.
The one time I've an 8-hour flight to kill, and the Bombcast is a short(ish) one. Now, to resist temptation and try to not listen to it before Friday.
Hope everyone beat Bioshock 1.
Imagine my surprise that the Bombcast is up and it is still Tuesday.
is that a photo of dog food?
is that a photo of dog food?
It's sure not shit pie.
@printedcrayon: It's Wednesday here... fuck quantum mechanics.
I am torn.
God, I hope not because it looks kind of delicious.
Good chance of more MGS hate? I guess... I'll listen to it anyway.
Brad Spoilermaker strikes again! I guess he gave a small warning before mentioning those thread titles for Bioshock 1, so whatevs (I normally don't care about someone spoiling a 7 years old game, but I'm guessing that quite a few are playing Bioshock 1 for the first time now before playing Infinite/after playing Infinite.)
Love that thumbnail image. Reminds me of me.
I can't be mad at a 2 hour 'cast when it comes out this early.
@amyggen: Even if they are playing it for the first time because of Infinite, it is still a 7 year old game. There is no protection for a game of that age.
@hamly12: Damn it.
One of these days they'll fix time zones.
@brocksampson: Yeah, I totally understand that viewpoint, and I'm not normally someone who complains about spoilers.I already regret posting my comment :)
bring on the 3 hour+ podcasts, i need shit to listen to during work
I'll take another short-cast, and no Vinny second week in a row? Kill me now :(
Yes! I was really hoping we'd get an Infinite spoilercast! :)
A warning to any, Brad & Patrick talk about the new BioShock and try to talk around spoilers. Good luck with that.
And guys, giving the game credit for having gaps in the story telling is a little deluded.
You only need to care about TV lag if your playing fighting games, and maybe FPS games. But at that point you should buy monitors like an ASUS anyway, so don't pay more money for something you'll get used to and only notice if you play a less laggy TV anyway.
I'm totally opposite of Jeff. Story lines coming off of MGS3 is exactly what I want and if I found out it was following up on MGS2/4 stuff I would lose interest immediately.
WOW, we are still questioning peter moore's tattoos are real?
