We're joined by Geoff Keighley, Ed Boon, Rich Gallup, Rocco from Mega64, Iron Galaxy's Dave Lang, Sony Computer Entertainment's Adam Boyes, Disney Interactive's John Vignocchi, Stephen Totilo, DrinkBox Studios, Alphonso, and, of course, Hawkman.
Gebus, 4 hours? I told they would go on for maybe another 20 minutes when i stop watching at 11pm last night, looks like i was very wrong in that assumption
That is a nice long pod cast. Awesome. Giant bomb crew, I know you are exhausted, however I thank you all of you guys for the the hard work you are doing. :)
Here is my take on the Nintendo discussion: I don't think Nintendo could give a shit about "being lapped technologically" by the next Microsoft and Sony consoles. The Wii-U is the only system that can do things my PC can't. When those next consoles come out they need to have a STRONG reason that I should buy those and play games on those rather than playing the exact same games on my PC - where they look better and run faster. I am totally uninterested in first party games from Sony and Microsoft right now. I've played Halo to death, I've played Gears to death. I'm not interested in a 5th or 6th God of War game.
That dude behind Rocco was extremely funny i.e. acting like a total douche the whole time. I know that's their shtick, still not funny. He was doing that shit on camera and thankfully you won't notice it on the podcast.
I'm glad Eric was there to secretly make fun of Totillo, the guy who basically ruined the show for nearly two hours.(Of course, it's not his fault that Ryan kept asking him questions)

Hey man, if it weren't for Totilo we wouldn't have Hawktaku and the Hawkman story.
I really hate when they start going off about how amazing indie games are. It's so fucking pandering and not everyone cares about stupid mario rip-offs.

It's really unfair that Totilo gets to write about games. So often I find myself reading an article on the internet only to pause suddenly, ask myself -- wait, what the fuck? -- only to look up and see his name. I hate to put people down but his writing is seriously reminiscent of a child's. I don't mean any of that grammar bullshit but more importantly what he is writing about.
It was SO nice to hear Geoff as an actual human being for once. I always swore he was a robot based on his stuff on Spike. Guess it just shows how much of a face you have to put on for TV.
You heard it here first, if you carry around a bag and collect merch at E3 you don't belong there. It's only for "elite" gaming press like giantbomb! Oh yeah, and stupid hats, fuck you guys and your stupid hats. I guess Ryan didn't take his blood pressure meds. Dick.
This Bombcast episode is among my favorite E3 moments so far. Surprised no one linked to Hawktaku.com yet. It was registered and setup during the Bombcast, talk about fast but I would have done the same if I wasn't working while listening last night. I even tossed Hawktaku a photoshop I did after seeing GameSpot had misspelled Ed's name "BOOM" earlier this week and then added Hawkman into it of course.
