Inside of a PokeBall

I have seen the inside of the ball, it was in a Movie. It was about a Large Tree, lucario, ora and some other crap. it was right at the start

You're lying.
Everyone know's your face melts off if you see inside a PokeBall.
It's like taking a hit of Charlie Sheen.

Fool.

EDIT: Why the hell did @pikeplacer bump this thread with that picture?
Tsk tsk.

Why the fuck can't humans be trapped into the ball? How does the Pokeball know the difference between a Machamp and a regular buffed dude?

It doesn't. Have you ever seen somebody throw a Pokéball at somebody from the front (IE the part that opens up)? I haven't.

Which movie?  My guess is either  The Crying Game or Videodrome.

What if I threw it at a baby, or even a cat? What would happen to the cat?

I know right?

You'd have a cat with a broken skull inside your Pokéball.

Pokeballs are so weird. It's like GameFreaks didn't properly test out their laws and physics. Do they have Pokemon in America and not just in Japan? Does Pokemon take place in the future or maybe the past?

If they can catch Pokemon with pokeballs, why not just make a really big Pokeball and capture the biggest pokemon?

#13 Posted by Video_Game_King (35838 posts) -
@KaosAngel

Who the hell said that the Pokémon universe wasn't in America? Hell, the latest game has a dimensional warp that summons a 9/11 Pokémon.

Because the Pokéballs shrink the Pokémon down when they enter it.
#14 Posted by KaosAngel (13765 posts) -

@Video_Game_King: Oh yeah I forgot about that. I wonder if each Pokemon has it's own kind of world inside a pokeball now.

Get a nice pokemon like Agumon and see what he dreams while he waits to evolve and whatnot. Then Pokemon like Mewtwo or even that turtle one with the sunglasses, forget the name.

Pokemon is so weird.

How does air get inside the pokeball? What about sustanance? How does a Pokeball allow someone to carry an Onyx or Snorlax? Can the Pokeball be broken out of at anytime?

Are you trying to get me to remember Digimon or something? So far, I'm only remembering some creep who planted dark seeds in kids and that made some evil Digimon or something.

Who ever said humans can't get trapped in a pokeball? You have just never seen a pokeball thrown at a human.

My evidence:

#19 Posted by AhmadMetallic (18955 posts) -

I read that title as "poke ball", as in, a ball for poking

that is all

#20 Posted by KaosAngel (13765 posts) -

@Video_Game_King: Digimon was the fucking shit yo. It even had real fucking logic instead of the bullshit logic GameFreaks came up with.

@NickL: Wouldn't Ash die due to no air or pressure?

Hmmmm a deep routed discussion about pokemon after a 10 month old bump......I dig it, count me in.  And humans probably could be trapped into pokeballs. imagine a reverse universe were the pokemon capture the humans. Prof Charizard gave young pikachu a choice between three human babies to raise and grown......Humamon lol.

Yeah I don't know about that one, but since pokemon can survive in them and i assume at least some pokemon rely on air to live it probably isn't air tight

#24 Posted by GoofyGoober (937 posts) -
@KaosAngel: Wouldn't any pokemon die without the air? Or what about the water pokemon that you know need the water? I feel like we are on to some sort of conspiracy here.

If it isn't air tight, why doesn't the balls just break open from the pressure then? That shit has to be air tight or the concept of capturing wouldn't work.

Trying to hash out the "science" of fantasy never works, because most of the time there is none to be had. That's why we use the word "fantasy" to describe these things. It's like trying to make scientific sense out of a dream.

#28 Posted by GoofyGoober (937 posts) -
@Brendan: Yeah but since we have nothing better else to do......

Logical? OK, Digimon is pretty awesome, but it's no more logical than Pokémon. Mind explaining why it took so long for Patamon to become that angel thing (it's been a long time since I've touched anything Digimon)?
#30 Posted by KaosAngel (13765 posts) -

@Video_Game_King: Digimon can be explained as binary code though, it's all digital monsters. That's do-able, at the end of the day Digimons are just AI.

#31 Posted by Video_Game_King (35838 posts) -
@KaosAngel

But they can't be; they eventually make their way into the real world and have some pretty big effects on it.

The bigger question is how the fuck are pokemon being stored into the PCs at the Pokemon Centers? That shit is fucked.

Wait, I'm not sure what pressure you are talking about?

The pressure from the pokemon being crammed in there? If that is what you mean, the ball uses its magical mojo to make the pokemon shrink so there wouldn't be enough pressure to make it burst open.

@Video_Game_King: Maybe the Digital World is just a prism into another digital world that the kids are dreaming up. Think about it, near the middle of Season 1 when TK's brother gets the Angelmon, everyone is about to die...maybe they died in the digital world and it's all TK's fantasy of what Digimon would be like in the real world, as he was neglected as a child due to his parents splitting up.

I mean, at the end of the day all the kids in Digimon had a lot of mental or physical abuse, the Digital World was just their escape from reality but once they died in the digital world, they all dreamt of what it would be like if their fantasy did become reality.

HOLY SHIT I JUST FIGURED OUT THE PLOT TO VERSUS XIII

Noctis is sleeping the entire time.

God damnit, now we gotta figure that out too. How are the Pokemon being turned into binary digits and being stored? If that's the case, then Digimon are similar and HOLY FUKCING SHIT

Pokemon are Digimon when they are stored onto the PC and Digimon are Pokemon when they are set back into the Pokeballs.

BTW, at some point in pokemon ash is turned into a pikachu so trying to bring logic into pokemon isn't the best idea

It's also the clip were brock calls ash ass

And the clip were they make the mistake of having a togepi in misty's arms while it is also playing with the other pokemon

A lot of weird things in that episode.... and I think i used to watch too much pokemon to remember all this stuff

Pokemon and Digimon are technically in the same universe then. You cracked it.

My theory is clones.

The pokeball absorbs the pokemon's DNA and kills it, then makes another one every time the pokeball releases it. Also memories are stored in the DNA, because Assassin's Creed says so.
#45 Posted by Skullomania (135 posts) -

Ok, so this is a subject I've actually thought about way too much about, but here's my thoughts and questions.

I'm guessing its a molecular breakdown and something to do with the skin contact after the ball hits then the red laser that comes out. But what I don't understand is why this ability to shrink and transform molecules isn't applied for other uses in the world other than Pokemon transport. Think of the money and environmental benefits of transferring large cargo (e.i. cars, food, prison system) across great distance with ease. This then begs the question what's the size/density limit of a Pokeball? they can clearly be modified for special purpose due to all the various balls available in Gold/Silver...

I have more questions (like power source?) about this but I fear I've gone to deep already.

So then Pokemon trainers are willingly killing their Pokemon to recreate their Pokemon. That shit would not fly.

Yeah. I'm not buying this idea. What would be the point in traveling around the world trying to catch them in the first place If they can be cloned that easely?
