Who did you choose to be your starter Pokemon?

I own both Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, In Pokemon White I choose Tepig. I generally choose fire Pokemon in the Pokemon games because there is a big lack of other fire Pokemon to choose from. In Black I went with Snivy, but this time around I decided I should pick the one I had never played with before. Oshawott is now at level 19 and has since evolved.

I still don't really like these starters, but hey nobody can ever be a Charmander!

Oshawott, because he was my favorite in black, so why wait?

Picked Oshawott. Picked Tepig in White 1 to try something different and he is the worst Fire starter ever, stat wise.

Charmander.

Snivy. Because Serperior.

He's so far and above better than the other two to me that I feel like I should pick him again. Maybe it'd be better to try something else though...

I am using Snivy. He is ok. I don't really like the starters that much since there are so many great pokemon besides them.

@NoobSauceG7: I don't know if its just me, but I never replace a starter Pokemon, I don't know why i don't but it just feels wrong.

Oshawatt, because there's a bunch of grass Pokemon and fire Pokemon I want to use. I was kinda hoping for a switchup in starters, to be honest.

Started with Tepig, I'll get the other two starters from my brother, but I don't really like the starters, previous generations look allot better, but Samurott and Serperior look good.

@Hizang: I agree with you that it feels wrong but in Black I replaced my Emboar for a Chandelure since he seemed cool. I haven't replaced my Snivy yet though since there normally are not that many good grass pokemon.

I will not play any pokemon game that won't let me choose from charmander, squirtle, or bulbasaur at the start.

Doesn't matter, I've been breeding a full team of Max stat Bangers to be my A-team! then I trade em over to my new game in Black 2 and throw that stupid tepig in the BOX where he belongs!

Growlithe is my starter now. Since I found out the starting regional dex in this has Waaaaayyy more than just the new 150!!

I went with Snivy this time.

I chose tepig, but since I already played White and don't love the starters, I decided to do what I never do and ditch my starter and use only pokemon I haven't used before.

1st gen: Bulbasaur

2nd gen: Cyndaquil

3rd gen: Torchic

4th gen: Torterra

I've basically never started with a Water Pokemon due to them being very common (and kind of boring, since Surf is so useful) but once my copy of B&W 2 arrives I intend to pick Oshawott and then probably stick with his second form.

I went with Snivy once again. Oshawott is adorable but I'm not a fan of his evolved forms. Tepig and his evolved forms are just stupid.

Would you guys just stop thinking that the first gen was the best? I'm not even a big Pokemon fan but god were those designs lazy at times. Just look at evolutions that are just three of the same pokemon like koffing-weezing, magenemite-mageneton, dodo-dodrio, and diglilete-dugdrio. Fuckin lazy man.

Started with oshawott in black 1 and decided to go with Tepig this time cause he started to grow on me plus his final stage is pretty badass.

Yah, Tipig looks like a Zelda character I don't remember what I picked in Pokemon Black, they all kinda blur together. In fact i was pretty much predicting the play by play in this one. The only thing that surprised me so far is the not 4 house starting zone.

@Dagbiker: lol yeah I have a Emboar named Ganondorf in my Black 1 game he's pretty beast when used correctly.

I'll probably wait for Pokemon Brown so Muk can have a third evolution but, other than that always Fire type so Tepig!
