Pop 'Em Drop 'Em SameGame

Well, Pop ‘Em Drop ‘Em SameGame is really a great game to play when you are on the go, waiting in line for something, or even just to pass the time away and kill boredom.  Now it’s for WiiWare for only $5!  Perhaps this game should be for DS too!

Pop ‘Em Drop ‘Em SameGame is a puzzle game where you just simply pop two or more bubbles of the same color, and eliminating as many bubbles as you can for a score.  In this version, you can use different items/modes to spice up the game a little; the different modes/items can make the game quite fun!  You can customize your environment too by selecting the background and/or music of your choice provided in the game!  The multi-player mode is really nice, and it’s a more intuitive experience; however, it would have been nice to see online capabilities with this game just because it’s a WiiWare title, and just because there are such games on WiiWare with online capabilities.  It would also be nice if you could compare scores and play with people all around the world, but don’t expect it when you get this game.  This is a very straight-forward game, and it’s mostly intended for a casual audience of gamers.  To some, the game might not hold one’s interest for a long time because of the repetitive gameplay.  Pop ‘Em Drop ‘Em SameGame is not really a bad game for WiiWare for only $5, but it’s not really good game either, which probably adds to the list of the Wii’s mediocre games. 

Therefore, I give Pop ‘Em Drop ‘Em SameGame a mediocre score of 2.5/5.
