- Portland is the first island on Grand Theft Auto 3. This is where the Mafia, Diablos, and Triads reside. Also, the red light district is on this island where the infamous prostitutes can be found.
- This island is notorius because once all the missions are completed it is a dangerous place to return to. There are no gangs left in your favour, so driving through their territory may prove fatal.
