    Hey guys, so I got an email from gog.com offering me Postal 2: Complete edition for $6.
     
    I have never played the game before, should I pop down 6 bucks for the game or is it too outdated to even consider it?

    If you have no problem with shock humor it's kinda fun. 
    Looses its appeal quick, but for $6... go for it.

    I think the time where Postal had a place is passed. I guess if you were really curious, it's only 6 dollars so it's not a huge investment. That said, the game only really had one thing for it; its reputation for being shockingly violent and brutal. Those gimmicks date quickly.

    I didn't think Postal 2 was so bad. As far as shooters go, it didn't have much going for it, but there's something to be said for a game with a dedicated 'Pee' button.

    I played the game briefly and thought it was very dull, and that was a long time ago. I'm sure it would feel even worse now if I tried it again. 
     
    The first Postal game was enjoyable, at least.

    @NekuSakuraba: with the sale thats going on at GoG.com i'd recommend Painkiller over Postal 2. 
    if you already have Painkiller I'd recommend Outcast (which is also the same price). Outcast flies under the radar for a lot of people.

    I found Postal 2's shooting gameplay very lackluster, but I found the game pretty funny.  I can recommend Postal 2 but not Apocalypse Weekend (the expansion pack).  Apocalypse Weekend is a very straightforward shooter and when the shooting mechanics are already horrible it makes for a very boring game.
