First-Person Perspective First-Person is a vantage point that attempts to simulate looking through a game character's eyes. It is most commonly found in First-Person Shooters and Racing games, but also finds its way into other genres, such as RPG's and 3D Platformers. |

Traps A mechanical system designed to capture or cause harm. Some games allow players to set traps for their enemies... others set them for the player. |

World Map A viewable map that displays the entire game world. The map also usually shows the player's location in the world. |

Power Up Power Ups can be used to give the controlling or any character in the game temporary or permanently upgrades. These power ups can power up the character ranging anywhere from flight to strength to anything else you can think of. |

Ghosts Spooky entities that haunt you from beyond their grave. Often depicted ugly and transparent. |

Exploration Concept where everything you need isn't always spelled out for you on the map. Sometimes even the map is not there till you go explore it. |

Collectibles Collectibles are items such as coins, rings, gems, packages ect. that can be gathered, usually for some kind of reward. Often (almost too often) the source of earning achievements on the Xbox 360 |

Aliens Aliens appear in video games either as a positive or negative force. They usually appear in science fiction or horror video games. In some games, the main protagonist may be an alien. |

Gods This tag is for all games and characters that deal in the concept of Gods, Demigods, Half Gods and the like. |

Secrets Secrets are in many videogames. They are ways of making a game more fun after you have beaten it or just to show cool or weird things. |

Undead The Undead is an umbrella term describing creatures, both corporal and physical, that do not exhibit the key fundamental attributes that are associated with life, such as respiration, and blood circulation. Example of the Undead include animated corpses, spirits, vampires, and wraiths. |

3D Who needs 2D when we've got 3D? 3D, or 3 dimensions, is what we're used to seeing in almost every game these days, letting us do all sorts of awesome stuff like run in circles! |

Mythology Many games such as God of War or Too Human base their story off of these background stories from ancient times. |
