I'm not super interested in it as a movie fan... I tend to be somewhat picky I guess. However if I were a preteen or not somebody who watched a lot of movies, it may appeal to me. I guess it has a pretty good chance of taking the best video game movie crown... if that is even an honor.

I think trailer itself sucks. It makes the movie look bad.
But then again, even with Disney, the Harry Potter director, and the Pirates studio; this is still a videogame movie. The line from the trailer
"we must take the dagger to the secret guardian temple" confirms that.

Sands of Time, wearing the Warrior Within costume, pullin g off some weird glowy tribal shit on one half of his body stuff? They need to figure out what game they're adapting : |. Chances are they're meshing elements of all of them in to one, I doubt we'll ever see a Warrior Within or Two Thrones movie, which may be for better or for worse. This trailere looks alright for what it is. I mean, let's be honest here-- the only real human characters in the first game were The Prince, and the Vizier, and if I want to watch two and a half hours of the prince stabbing things, flipping everywhere, and primarily talking to himself, I'll go play the game. So the liberties they take in the story adding in more characters and a more populated environment is forgiveable as far as I'm concerned.
