    Concept »

Prinnies are a fictional race of peguin-like creatures in Nippon Ichi's Disgaea turn based strategy RPGs. They aren't especially bright, have a tendency to explode, and universally refer to everyone as "dood".

    Short summary describing this concept.

    Introduction

A prinny resembles a small, usually blue, pouch-wearing penguin with disproportionately small bat wings and two peg legs where feet would normally be. Prinnies use machetes and bombs as their weapons. Prinnies are souls of people that did very bad things in life and were sent to the underworld as punishment. there they must work for a overlord to earn enough money to buy their way back to being reincarnated. Working conditions are normally horrible being 22 hour work days with no days off and no breaks for whats basically less then 10 cents an hour.  Simulator creatures to the prinnies also exist in heaven or Celestia as its know as in the disgaea universe at serve of  angles. Most prinnies address other individuals with "dood", regardless of the gender of the person they are speaking to. Prinnies also have the strange power or weakness to explode when thrown.

Prinnies have appeared in every game in the franchise and star in their own game on the PSP, Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?
