I'm with Abby. Knives Out was predictable and kind of blew. I kept expecting my expectation to be subverted because it seemed so obvious, and then it didn't happen.
@kwad_rat: Uhh, hackable doesn't mean "oh man, hackers gonna break into my switch". Hackable means, "hey, I can install custom firmware and play pirated games and not funnel money into a terrible company like Nintendo". Definitely only an issue for Nintendo. With the way Nintendo conducts business, I'm all for people pirating their games. Their business model is gross.
So... What, if any, original concepts are this team bringing with this game? Because all I'm seeing is straight up biting of Quintet. Like, all of the effort was done by somebody else almost 30 years ago. I'd rather just play some Quintet games again. Or Dark Cloud. This looks like a phone game. I'll pass. Seriously not cool with how flippant modern developers treat old games, as if they can just lift entire chunks of it and call it an homage and it's all cool. Ugh.
Also, never excited when a key selling point is "oh hey, the composer for the game we ripped off did a song for this, so you know it's legit".
