Protoss, Protheans, Prometheans... what'll they think of next.

If you don't want to wait you can always level up your smithing to 80 and you'll be able to make your own. It's not that hard if you just make a ton of iron daggers. You'll still have to find ebony ore/ingots. I'm level 26 and I'm pretty much decked out with a set that I made myself, but I had to stumble upon an orc encampment with an ebony mine for that.

I'm probably in the minority that's excited for this as well. Then again, I also liked Mario Sunshine and would be excited about a follow up to that.

Yeah, you can still use the 2 day trial if you haven't redeemed your code.  I was able to get in and play a bit.  Lot more people playing online than I thought too.

I think a large problem some people are having with the video content/ER is that much of it is a creative endeavor for the team and as a result they can't really force this stuff, it's not like churning out a news article.  As people are stating they like the site because of the editor's personalities and you can't really set too hard a schedule to a lot of the stuff they do.  It'll happen when it happens.  Check out this article by Neil Gaiman about an issue very similar to people begging for an Endurance Run.  I think it's fairly relevant to this discussion.  http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2009/05/entitlement-issues.html

Not to be too nerdy, but when you said, "(What can I say? I love Galactus and all that goofy Ditko cosmic stuff.) "  I think you mean Jack Kirby and not Steve Ditko.  Although Ditko did some far out stuff with Dr. Strange, it's Kirby that is THE cosmic guy. /end nerd rant
