In my last blog I said "My TV > Your TV" and people started shooting each other. I said I'd show a picture so here you go!

Note - The PS3, 360 and Wii and the sizes of them compared to the TV
         - Cloverfield has been watched on that TV (Giant HD Marlena FTW!) (Same goes for Megan in
            Transformers;))
          - The speaker in the middle is now bigger. I got rid of that stand thing and now it fills up that hole.
          - This was shown in one of my GameSpot blogs so you may have seen it already

(Panasonic 58" 1080p HDTV)

I'm not trying to brag here.....but you guys just had to see:P

Super Mario 64 DS Review

Super Mario 64 in the palm of your hand, what more could you ask for. But is it better than the original?

When you think of Mario you think of one of the best and most popular video game characters of all-time. Mario has had many amazing games and one of the best if not the best is Super Mario 64.

Once hearing about Nintendo's new portable system and once hearing that they are making this classic game so you can play it anywhere, it makes you think that this will be one spectacular game. On the other hand you think such things as, will the controls and graphics be as good and will it be the exact same game as Super Mario 64. I will tell you these answers.

The graphics are pretty much exactly the same as the N64 version but when you think about it, that's not a bad thing. It is a nice thing to have N64 graphics on a portable system.

The controls are a little on the mediocre side. They're not horrible but they're not great either. It is the camera that's horrible. The camera is very hard to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it makes the game a bit easier. But you just might not get used to it. The camera is the part of the game that is where I have to take some points off.

With the graphics not really improving (that's not a bad thing, but it's just the same thing) and the camera going a step down, there is still some parts of the game that's better than the original game on the N64.

- This time you don't just have to play as just Mario but you can play as 3 other characters. These are Yoshi, Luigi and Wario. It doesn't change the game to much but it gives it that little extra variety. In order to collect every star you're going to need to use all 4 characters. It is a cool idea and it really works. It makes the game better.

- There is also a rec-room in which you play mini games. You unlock mini games by catching rabbits throughout the game. This is pretty much the only time that you use the stylus in the game. Each character has about 10 mini games so there are about 40 in total. This is a great function in the game that is great to play when you just need a break for Mario's big adventure. You will even finding yourself wanting to play this game just for the rec room.

So is Super Mario 64 DS as good as or even better than Mario 64, probably not. I would say Mario 64 is a little better than Mario 64 DS because it is overall more fun to play this game on a TV rather than the DS. The Rec Room and extra characters make this game better but it does not make up for the camera or controls. Having said that this game is just a little bit worse than the original but it is truly hard to make something better or even as good as Super Mario 64. Overall this is an easy choice. This is a must buy and one of the best DS games out there. If you have a DS then you must own Super Mario 64 DS.

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves Review (Wii)

This game is extremely short. While it lasts it's no fun and is just a frustrating mess.

I have been a huge fan of this series from the beginning. A very unique series that seems to get better and more interesting as it progresses. The GBA game was alright. It was the first of its kind so the developers had not worked out all the kinks to this weird but interesting style of gameplay. The Gamecube version came along at it was pretty much the same thing. The game was ok but had big potential. Then they brought it out on the DS. An interesting game on an interesting machine, it seemed to be a big hit. It was. With the use of the stylus it was bringing out the best of the series. Maybe this is what the series was missing in the first place. The consoles just were not right for this particular type of game. Shortly after Wario Ware: Twisted came out on the Game Boy Advance. The GBA was a great console nonetheless but it didn't have what the DS had. Again we were playing the game with buttons and not with the stylus. But that was not the case. The second Wario Ware game to hit the GBA did not have us using the buttons but it had us twisting and turning our Game Boys. An amazing function that worked extremely well. This is what the series needed, a unique way of playing the games. So when Wario Ware hit the Wii it had to be great, right?

I was very excited for this game. After the Gamespot review scoring better than any of the others I thought it was going to be something special. I was unfortunately wrong. After I was able to finally find the game I was ready to see if this was going to be as good as I expected to be. I started Wario Ware: Smooth Moves and played through the first level. It was boring and no fun. The entire game was pretty much like this. After playing each level I became more and more disappointed. About an hour and a half later I had beaten the game. I was stuck on this one dance mini game that I could not beat for the life of me. After trying and trying I had gotten extremely frustrated. The reason I was frustrated was because it wasn't that I was bad at the game it was because the remote was not responsive. If I would move the remote left it would move right on the screen and this happened a lot. It wasn't the fact that my remote wasn't working properly it was that this is how the game is. When you play or create a game you have to make sure that the controls work and for me it just didn't work.

I felt that once I was done with this game that was it. There was absolutely no replay value whatsoever which was disappointing because the others in the series had a great replay value. Playing this game with friends was just as bad. The ideas were decent but since the actual gameplay wasn't there it was very hard to get anywhere. This game just could have and should have been a lot more than what it was.

Why do I not like this game? It was short and while it lasted it was not fun at all. It just made me mad. I could go with "Broken", "Don't believe the hype", "Overrated", "Rip-off", "Too Short", "Total Letdown" or "Waste of time" because in the end this game is all of those. It was hard for me to decide which one to choose but I had to go with "total letdown" because that is what this game was most to me.

If you are looking for a quick, frustrating game to last you an hour than go ahead and get this game. If not please just skip this game altogether.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition Review

An outstanding survival game. Great enemies and locations make it one of the best games ever.

Resident Evil 4 is a very special game that allows you to fear for your life. It is definitely an amazing survival game and the best I've played. You play the game as Leon S. Kennedy, a cop searching for the Presidents daughter, Ashley. Ashley had been kidnapped to a strange city. You play the game in this mysterious city in search for Ashley. Eventually you run into zombies. The Zombies are not very hard to get by, a couple good shots in the head and there down. After various encounters with the zombies you find Ashley. This is where the game gets interesting.

Once you find Ashley the game really takes of as you are not only trying to save yourself but another person which gives the game a nice challenge. The game picks up the pace and puts you against bigger and harder enemies. This is probably the best part in the game, the enemies. They are so well designed and very hard to defeat and they pretty much come in waves one after another.

There is also a great selection of weapons to choose from. It is a very nice idea how you buy and store your weapons. You buy your weapons from a creepy man named The Merchant. He appears randomly throughout the game. Once you buy weapons and collect items you store them in your suitcase (which you can buy 3 bigger sizes as the game progresses). You can sort all the weapons/items in your suitcase which is a nice function to have. So all in all this suitcase and merchant really work and give the game a real creepy survival touch.

The controls work very well in this game, the Wii version especially. Point the remote at the screen and press 'A' to shoot. Shake the remote to reload and shake the nunchuk to use your knife. All of the Wii controls work very, very well.

So I recommend this game to anyone up for a challenge, up for a great adventure and up for a bloody good time. This game is very bloody and full of gore; it deserves its M rating. I have to say that the blood and gore is one of the best parts of the games. It will bother the little ones but it's great for the older ones. If you're looking for a classic, adventure horror, survival game then please get Resident Evil 4.

Super Smash Bros. Melee Review (Gamecube)

There's so much to do in SSBM. Even after you have completed 100% of the game you will still play it over and over again

With 25 characters, 11 unlockable characters, 29 stages, trophies, Classic, Adventure, All-Star and Event modes. There is so much to do in this game and not so much that it's frustrating. Pros. - a lot of even balanced characters - Tons of gameplay hours - Absolutely amazing multiplayer - All of the different game modes for you to try - A lot of trophies to collect - The game has great graphics - A huge step better than the first Super Smash Bros. - It will never feel repetitive Cons. - there is no actual story to the game - Sometimes the gameplay does not work very well - Some characters just are not very good at all

Super Smash Brothers Melee is in my opinion the best game for the GameCube and the best multiplayer game ever created. If you have a GameCube you need to get this game.

Star Fox 64 Review (Nintendo 64)

Star Fox 64 is just one of those games you will play over and over even 10 years after it was released.

This is one of those games that are classics but not among the best of classics. Star Fox 64 takes you into the air with Fox, Slippy, Falco and Peppy. You go through each planet of the Lylat system flying and shooting down enemies until you get to the boss. You do this until you get to the final level and face of against the evil Andross. The game is not very hard and not very long either. It may take you 10 hours or less your first time through. On your second run through you can find a hidden route in a level. This completely changes your route until the end of the game and is very fun to try for your second try at this game. It's a great way for you to replay it. The controls work quite well on the N64. The lock on system makes the game a lot easier, but also a lot more fun. The voice acting is a bit weird but it's used for more of a comedy and it does very well at that. Each level has it's own unique twist that gives you enough variety to make the game great. Star Fox 64 will always be one of those games that were just so fun, so silly, and very addictive. If you need a very good and re-playable game than Star Fox 64 is one of the best games for you.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Review (Playstation 2)

If I could describe this game in one word it would be "Fun" Sometimes a game doesn't have to do absolutely everything right. Sometimes it just has to do a couple of great things to be a great game. Sly Cooper is not a perfect game, just a fun one. But it doesn't need to be perfect. Sly Cooper is not an amazing game, it's not a masterpiece, it's a simple good game. You play the game as Sly Cooper. Sly is a raccoon who is master of all thieves. When Sly was a child the Fiendish Five stole the Thievius Raccoonus and killed his family. The Thievius Raccoonus is a book with all his ancestors special abilities, a priceless item to the Cooper family. His best friends are Murray and Bentley who help him along the way to finding all the pieces of the Thievius Raccoonus. You go through each of the 5 levels sneaking your way through a couple of missions. When you beat each mission you will get a key. Moving to the next part of the levels requires you to beat all the missions and get every key. When you get all the keys you move on to the next part of the level. You need to complete the missions, get the keys and then move on to the boss. Sly Cooper is simply a great game but it is not perfect. It is a good set up for the true masterpiece Sly 2: Band of Thieves. So if your looking for a very fun, quick game then definitely give Sly Cooper a try.
