Not only a great game but one of the most important pieces of fiction ever expressed in a game.

2. Gears of War

The game that ruined my life and my last Xbox. A "Seriously" good game.

3. Gears of War 2

The game most likely to destroy my life in 2009. Let's here three cheers for paracetamol!

Before Gears Of War turned me into an "online asshole" this game took over my life. I've probably spent more time in this game than any other single player game in existence. Not only is it a well built and magnificent looking game, it's also one of the most frustrating and deadly games out there. Beware of Mission Mode on Master Ninja, it made me go through 2 controllers and about 40 years in purgatory.
