This post relates to: Final Fantasy X
Some of you guessed it right, some of you weren't so successful. I'll be the first to admit though, you people who followed me from GameSpot had a distinct advantage. As I have blogged about this game before, mainly when I got it. Saying that I wanted to save it till I could give it my all. So congratulation to you who guessed right, you all win a cookie!
When you have a whole summer to yourself with no distractions or commitments, just how many hours can you dedicate to a game? Well today alone I slammed 8 hours into this game, an it's not late yet, so chances are it will hit double figures before the day has ended. If that's not giving the game my all, I don't know what is. I would in all honest carry on playing this game throughout the night, but I can't I have to get up pretty early to go to a doctor's appointment, sucks I know.
One thing that's been on my mind while playing this though, how did this slip through my fingers many years ago? I've had a PS2 from launch to around 2005. Yet I didn't know this game so much as existed. Which is incredibly weird seeing as one of my friends is a complete Final Fantasy fanatic. He has been since he was little, yet why didn't he tell me about this masterpiece of a game? Why Tom? Why?
I think you've come to the assumption that this is my first Final Fantasy game, right? Well I couldn't have picked a better one. I am whole heatedly loving this game, ever second I play I appreciate it more. Playing two games of this caliber back-to-back is pretty weird. It must seem to you guys like I think every game is a 'masterpiece' or 'amazing'. But the truth is far from it, fate just delivered both of these game's simultaneously.
I'll make you guys a promise, though, I don't usually do this. Cause' I'm not one to brake promises. But I promise you guys by the end of my summer vacation (Sep 1st) I'll have reviews for both this game and MGS4. Reviews I will be proud of, i'm a perfectionist. So that won't be easy.
So-Long, Lonesome
