Well, I'm late because I was gone this weekend. I was in Detroit to see a Tigers game yesterday (and they finally won btw!) and now I'm back to do my Achievement Update!!

If you noticed a new addition to the games catalog (Medal of Honor: Airborne) it's because I got that game in the mail yesterday from Gamefly and I got home today, saw it, and popped it in. It's a pretty good game. I like the idea of being able to go anywhere you want instead of being told to go somewhere. I know, I know, WWII games are overrated and there are way too many of them but this one is pretty good for a dying genre. I recommend checking it out if you're in to shooters.

That's it! And by the way I LOVE Half Life 2!! And Portal is awesome as well! Right now I'm renting The Orange Box but I would definitely buy it! I haven't tried Team Fortress yet but I will and if anyone has The Orange Box and wants to play on Xbox Live, hit me up!

So this is the first Gaming Update and I don't know how I'm going to lay it out. But first I forgot to post the releases blog this week and so you'll have to wait til Monday for the first one. Sorry but this time, I'll be better prepared for it. So let's try this layout that I'm thinking of as I'm going...

GAMES IN PROGRESS:
I still haven't beaten this!! I know, I know, I gotta get on that. But, as of about an hour ago I was about 55% of the way through it. But, don't spoil anything!!! And for those of you who don't know much about GTA4, 55% is actually really close to beating the game. You have to get about 60% to beat the game. 55% is just how close I am to completing the game. So I'll keep you updated on the quest. I'm at 33 hours in this one which means I won't be getting the under 20 hours achievement the first time around.








I don't really know how far I am in to the game because I don't do the missions. Well, not yet. I've been doing all the side missions because I want to enjoy the game. I don't know why I do it that way I just do. But I know that I'm about 10 hours in to the game. But I'm not far in the missions. Also I'm only level 24.













END OF THE LINE:
I actually haven't played any games recently cause I've been obsessed with Mass Effect and GTA4.

UPCOMING QUESTS: This game should be in my mailbox really soon. It got shipped on Saturday but it still isn'there which I'm surprised at. But when it comes I'll be all over it!

-SOCOM: Confrontation will be released in three different bundle versions.

XBOX 360:
-The 360 gets a system update that, according to Major Nelson, is to "prepare for the upcoming growth of the system".

So that was the 50th Achievement Update! I hope you liked the new layout! It takes longer to make but I think it looks better. It will also go on Giant Bomb easier! So send feedback about the new layout!

So, now the new games! As you can see from the achievements, I got N+! It's very addictive already but it's really fun! I also bought Mass Effect!! I rented that game back in March and I loved it so much but I never was able to beat it so I ended up buying it and getting the DLC pack for it!

Now the two new segments! The first one is called Releases. Simple enough. And as the name states it's pretty much just releases. I'll post it on Monday and it will tell you what games are coming out for that week.
The second segment is called Gaming Update! It's gonna be on Fridays and it will be a recap of my week in gaming and gaming news that I think is important or that I care about. It will have at least one major headline per week for each system!

Also, those new segments will be posted both on GameSpot and Giant Bomb. Just like this post and others.

So I have a little dilema here for you fellow 360 owners to help me with. I have 1800 MS Points in my account and I don't know what to do with them. I'm thinking of getting the Foo Fighters track pack for Guitar Hero III cause I already got the Velvet Revolver track pack and that is a great one! And I also love the Foo Fighters so that's 500 right there. But I need help getting rid of the 1300. I would save some for fall when the GTA DLC comes out but I can always buy more points when that time comes around. I'm thinking of getting N+ and the recently released level pack for it. But I wanted your input on it first. What do you guys think?
