Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe review was definitely a shocker. Nevertheless, It's good to see some gaming journalists stepping outside the "box." As long as Scorpion is in Mortal Kombat fighting games (I'm down for whatever).

I've been gaming since the tender age of five, Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) was my first gaming console. I'm not a fanboy, but Playstation 3 is my favorite console. Okay, this year (2008) has been a fabulous year for gamers and the whole gaming community. Although, money don't grow on trees, I'm trying to enjoy most of these pleasantries that I possibly can. It's good to have "hardcore" gaming friends too, that way I can play some of their games that I haven't had a chance to pick up just yet.
I ask you all, what have been some of your personal favorites so far this year? My favorites are: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Little Big Planet, Fallout 3, Fable 2, and my sleeper - Tales of Vesperia.

A few of mine are: Gears of War 2, Little Big Planet, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead, and Far Cry 2.
Well, the year is almost over and the Game of the Year honors would be soon announce. So, which game do you think deserves the G.O.T.Y honors?

Not sure if I'm going to invest in the Nintendo DSi just yet. Even though, the DSi has nice upgrades, I don't won't to fall prey to another "gimmick" marketing ploy. On that note, if I do decide buy one, i'll just import an Nintendo DSi straight from Japan.
