@Andorski: Since the World Wide Web was created and multiple spaces in HTML are treated as a single space. The powers that be have decided that we shall only use one space, so that's what we do.

I try to include critical reception sections when I write articles, and some articles have sections for special editions and such, so you could consider including those as well. Just write the articles however you think works well, as long as you don't drastically change the format of an existing page without attempting to discuss it first. Most people don't read the help page before editing anyway, so guidelines probably wouldn't do much.

If you want to support Giant Bomb financially you can buy stuff from the store or purchase the iPhone app.  You know what features I'd love to see added to Giant Bomb? All the stuff that used to be here but was stripped away for no good reason. Please don't encourage them to limit the site's feature set any more than they've already been doing.

Steam achievements don't have any data about when they were earned attached to them, so that will never work.

Improper aliases could screw up the search — the feature that provides the only way to link things together — so it's only available for moderators and staff members. You may request an alias in the appropriate topic at the Delete/Combine board.

Ooh! Getting all technical, explaining why things don't work properly. I like that. :) I tried to do that once, explaining how to fix a simple CSS style mistake. Apparently no one noticed though, and the problem persisted until the interface overhaul a couple of days ago. Hopefully that doesn't happen here.

Looks like it might be time to update the interface section of the image moderation guide. Actually, does anyone even read it any more?

Redirects? What do you think this is, any other wiki software developed in the last fifteen years? :P Wiki redirects only really work if pages are accessed by name alone. This wiki software identifies them all with a unique identifying number. There's a string of text in the URL as well, but you can change that to anything at all and it's automatically redirected. The number is all that matters. ...
