My Dad left me in the Vault and I gave chase. I'm now in a world full of super mutants and heartless raiders. I'm a good guy and I haven't committed a 'crime' as of yet. Megaton is my home, but hearing the preachers pray to that bomb makes me want to visit Tenpenny Tower - There's always a second time to play through. Why does GNR and Englave keep repeating? Fallout 3 is awesome, by the way.
Lunchbox
Gears of War 2 comes out tomorrow. I will pick it up next week...maybe.

Just hold on, Louis. Save your money. There are plenty of awesome games coming out soon -- Must...not...buy...a new game until then.

This goes to show my complete lack of education when it comes to comics. But I had no idea there was a super hero called ‘Captain Britain’ in the Marvel universe. I had heard of him before. But never knew he was an established character, though.
Captain Britain
Apparently he was born and raised in a quaint English town in Essex. I really need to get more up to date on the comic scene and look beyond the typical characters such as the X-Men, Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk.

This post relates to:
Mass Effect
So I’ve been replaying Mass Effect lately. Already my enjoyment of the game has risen considerably since my first play through. I’m taking more time to appreciate the environment which looks gorgeous, in my opinion. I absolutely love the art direction of this game.
I’m not that far into the story as I’m trying to complete more side ‘quests’. I’ve only done a couple so far. But I have my check list to find every side mission in the Citadel.
Mass Effect’s environment is l-u-s-h
My only real gripe with Mass Effect is the numerous bugs found within the game. For those of you have played it, you might know what I’m talking about. Sometimes I find that my Sheppard gets stuck in one spot – For example, I was jogging through the Normandy Ship on the way to meet Joker. I was then called to a halt on one spot which forced me to load up the game again. There are occasional slow downs, too. Along with a few random bugs – Such as when I went into a cut scene with an enemy on screen (believe me, that creature shouldn’t have been there). But apart from that, the game is solid, cool, awesome, fun, enjoyable, good, etc.
My character is called Leia Sheppard (notice the Star Wars reference, eh?), she is a female this time (or at least I hope she is) and falls under the Vanguard. This gives me the opportunity to use biotic powers (something I missed during my first play through). They seem OK so far. I also have two crew members with me - Kaidan Alenko the human sentinel and Garrus Vakarian the turian agent. I especially wanted Garrus in my team because I like his subtle humour and dry personality. Kaidan is becoming annoying.
I’m hoping this time I can appreciate the sheer size of the galaxy. During my first play through I beat the main quest fairly quickly and didn’t give myself time to explore those uncharted worlds and side quests. I know the whole world and quest side of things have been criticised for being a little simplistic and repetitive. But am I right in thinking that every uncharted world has some variation to the environment? If so, that’s enough to keep me coming back. As long as they don’t all look like Mars, I’m fine.
P.S: GiantBomb. PLEASE fix the friend network problem. I add a friend, they accept, I’m on their friend list, but they’re not on mine. It’s really annoying because I don’t get any blog updates.
You have not written any reviews yet.
