Yes it is up for download today for Europe. The game was released on the SNES I think in the US and Japan in 1995 and it never made it to Europe maybe because it was late in the SNES and maybe Europe thought they would never get to play it.

Today though Europeans can download this top SNES title for only 900 Wii Points. It has been one of the most requested titles to be on the Virtual Console and Europe finally gets to play it. I don't think the US will have to wait to lomng I am expecting it to be avliable to them on Monday.

Some of you might not know this but Super Mario Bros 3 was my favourite Mario game for quiet a while but now I have decided another Mario game beats it as the best Mario game. It was my favourite game of all time but not anymore its another Mario game and you shouldn't bne surprised at guessing which one it is.

IT IS SUPER MARIO GALAXY. I have to admit it I didn't have it as my number 1 game in my last top 10 Mario countdown it was second only because it had been out for a month then but all of a sudden it has pushed Super Mario Bros 3 off my number Mario game and is now my number 1 title of all time.

The game has amazing level designing, great graphics and an awesome soundtrack. I have loved Mario music for a very long time but just about all the levels in the game that I absolutely love to listen to. I think all the levels music is the best ever made in a Nintendo game and every level has awesome music to it and to be honest  I think every single level has nice music but these are my top 5 levels music I like in this game.

Best Music in Super Mario Galaxy

1. Gusty Garden Galaxy: This is my favourite music in the entire game and basically ever in a videogame. I just really do love this tune so much.

2.Battlerock Galaxy: This music in the game is very nice I think it fits in perfectly with the level.

3.Good Egg Galaxy: What a tune to open the first Galaxy with. It's so wonderful

4. Peaceful Stars: This music is so calm but peaceful to listen to.

Those are some nice tunes in the game I think i listen to them on Youtube. Does anybody else think that the in level music for most levels is amazing to listen to in Super Mario Galaxy.

So far Soul Calibur 4 is alot of fun and I tried online out. Most of the time I can get on but when I do I get owned and take a defeat. What I hate though is even though I am not that good I have come close to winning a few matches some matches I have played I was winning but then it says connection to opponent lost and this was when I was winning as well which annoys me most of all. Yes your opponent probably gets a defeat but you don't get the win. I lost over 12 times and I should have had at least 2 victories. I know things can only get better. I aren't taking it seriously but some people do. I have played over 15 matches and while Ishould have won 2 of them I lost the rest.

I am trying to get better online and I probably will as well. I have no plans on selling this game I enjoy it. I should have won at least a couple of matches but people dissconect and while they lost the match you don't get the win.

I got Soul Calibur 4 for the PS3 today and I have just played it for one hour and my goodness I had a brilliant time on it. It is fun. I played the arcade mode and I used Raphael as my first character and played a few matches and man it really is fun I have been waiting for a game like this to play on my PS3.

I really like it alot. Is it better than Brawl well thats a bit early to say but from what I have played its very addictive. I am gonna continue practing before I play online. Smash Bros Brawl is still my favorite but this game is good.

These are the 5 games I am most exicted for at the moment.

5.Soul Calibur 4: It's out in the UK tomorrow and the online looks really good and I love beat em ups.

4.Sonic Unleashed: Out of all the Sonic games that are coming out I am anticapating this the most. Some awesome 2D and 3D types of levels it has excellent graphics and not having to play as annoying characters. Well you play as a Werehog but the gameplay elements don't look to bad. Hopefully SEGA WON'T MESS IT UP.

3.Street Fighter 4: I like the series alot I played on the SEGA Genesis and the SNES and I had alot of fun and it does seem as though the gameplay from prevoius games looks good it. A game that has never done well in 3D. Hopefully the old style gameplay from previous games is there and of course lots of characters new and old and hopefully online play.

2.Little Big Planet: I like the way this game looks I hear you get extra added content online and be able to download new levels. It looks really cool and has alot of potential.  The style of gameplay looks fun and could be one of the best games of 2008.

1. Resident Evil 5: I have watched a few trailers and everytime I see or hear about this game my excitement grows. It is keeping the same formula which made Resident Evil 4 so good. With online co -op going to be aviliable it could be one of the best experiences ever. This enemy that follows you many places and the amount of enemies on you at once and some of them on motorbikes this could be fun. This game is looking so good I am willing to wait till March 2009.

Any opinions of my top 5 most upcoming games this gen.

Sonic 3 is a very good Sonic title and one of the best

Sonic 3 is a continuation of the Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy so how good is it.

The story is after the Death Egg Eggmans flying fortress Crashes onto the Floating Island and ends up finding the gurdian and newcomer to the series Knuckles the Echidna. Dr Eggman convinces Knuckles that Sonic is the enemy and as Sonic and Tails investagate Knuckles out of nowhere knocks Sonic out of his Super form and takes the Chaos Emeralds and he shows up at certain parts to halt Sonics progress. So its up to Sonic and Tails to get them back but they have 2 problems Eggman and Knuckles.

The gameplay is very different from Sonic 2 while it feels the same way in terms of speed it adds new power ups like a Bubble shield which lets you breathe underwater a fire shield protects you from fire and you can do a dash and finally a magnetic Shield which attracts rings but  the fire shield no magnetic will disappear underwater but the bouncing bubble will remain.. Also unlike Sonic 2 and the first game there is a mid boss at the end of each act in the game and they normally take about 6 or 8 hits to defeat. Also Tails can pick Sonic up and get him to reach high platforms. You press the jump button twice. There are new special stages. If you hit a star post you get the chance to get more rings a 1 up or items. To gain a Chaos Emerald you have to enter a giant ring and collect all the blue spheres and avoid the red ones.  The special stage does seem to get fast as you move along it and its in 3D as well. The competition is you race 5 laps round a few courses and try to finish first its nothing like Sonic 2 which I felt had the best vs mode. Also unlike its predesscors if you get bored it saves you game but the next time you play you get 3 lives so you don't have the amount you quit with.

The graphics are good very nicely designed and the sound is okay

Overall this game is not as good as Sonic 1 or Sonic 2 but it is a very good title

The best Mario game ever.

Super Mario Bros 3 is actually considered by many not just to be the best Mario game around but the best platformer ever.

The story is the kings of the seven worlds have had the wands taken from them by Bowsers Koopalings and transformed them into animals. Mario and Luigi have to retreive them but while they are doing that Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach or Toadstool whatever you want to call here.

The controls play just like Super Mario Bros but you get new power ups to go alongside the Fireflower,Starman and Mushroom. A Racoon Tail that lets you glide and if you  hold the run button you can fly in the air for a period of time. A P wing which lets you stay in the air  for as long as you want but only for one level.  A Frog Suit that lets you swim better. A Tanooki Suit which you can  turn to stone if you press down and  the B button.  A Hammer Bros Suit which  can take out enemies you can't with the fireflower like Boos and Thowps which are newcomers in terms of enemies and Kuribo Shoe which you can hop on enemies.

The gameplay is just like Super Mario Bros and the game unlike Super Mario Bros has a map screen so you can sometimes choose which levels you want to go to and there is always a fortress and a Koopa Airship at the end of each world. There are mushroom houses which have power ups in them. A Mini game where you can gain  extra lifes.  A Mushroom 2up,Fireflower 3 up and Star 5 up. You come to the end in the level and they appear there and if you can get 3 in a row you will get that amount of extra lifes if not you only get a 1 up but not in the mini game if you make a mistake and they is an N card that appears as well. It lets you build up power ups. There are hammer bros in most worlds normally 2 in each world and if you defeat them you get a power up item. If you play 2 players Mario goes first and if he finsihes a level then its Luigi turn unless they lose a life in that level. You can use power ups to enter that level if you want.

The graphcs are fantastic and to say this was on the NES it looks absolutley stunning. You can see things in the background and the worlds. There is Grass,Desert,Water,Giant,Sky,Ice,Pipe Land and Dark Land. All the levels are very nicely designed and are different and alot of fun. The music is very catchy also.

The game is packed with secrets and tons of power ups and areas. It is a fantastic game.  In my opinion it is not just the best Mario game around but in my opinion the best game ever. It has been rereleased so many times and it hasn't changed a bit so if you have a GameBoy Advance or you don't have it from the Virtual Console and you haven't played it you must this game is platforming perfection.

Best Zelda game around and thats saying something

When the N64 launched Mario gave us a memorable experiences and fans waited patiently for Zelda The Ocarina Of Time and they were certainly not letdown by the game. It is just an amazing achievement.

You are Young Link you are summoned by the great Deku Tree to get 3 spritual stones and return to Hyrule with the 3 of them. Then you see a young Zelda and a Shiekah running and she throws the Ocarina Of Time in the lake which you have to get and as you turn around the man the Deku tree warned you about Ganondorf is stopped but attacks you. As you enter the  Temple of Time and pull the  legendary Master Sword from its pedestal 7 years pass and Ganondorf casts his evil magic over Hyrule and you have to free 5 sages and beat Ganondorf the game really comes to life at this point when your an Adult.

Unlike the other games before this. The game features long on targetting and automatic jumping. You can't use certain items as young or adult Link because of his size and you can go back  and forth in time which is needed. You are helped by Navi who is a guide but man she can be annoying at times. The dungeons are very nicely designed and take a key item in the dungeon like the arrows are important to defeating the boss in the Forest Temple. Speaking of the bosses they are huge. They can be difficult and some can cause some serious damage. There are some difficult puzzles to do in certain dungeons. In some you need different coloured tunics to get through. A blue tunic will help you breathe underwater and a red one for fire protection. The balance of this game is perfect

The sound is fantastic Nintendo did a wonderful job with the sound. The opening sounds fantastic and the sounds played on the Ocarina are very well ocartrested. It sounds perfect and the music does feel lovely to listen to. The graphics are equally as impressive the amount of detail in this gane is sensational thinking this is an N64 title. From the moment you set foot on Hyrule Field it is a moment Zelda fans will never for get.

It should take you 15 to 20 to complete if you aren't gonna do any of the sidequests or look around for extra heart pieces or just to look around to see what you can see or just to witness the beautiful  setting its just simply hard to describe.

So overall this is an absolutely fantastic title. The game has so much to offer it is an epic quest and has a fantastic story full of magical moments. If you have never played this game you should. Simple reason is it is just a masterpiece.

A Zelda game thats good but a little dissapointing

The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess was the big name launch game for the Wii and one of the last games for the Gamecube. It was delayed a few times so was it worth the wait.

Story

The whole world of Hyrule is in Darkness from a thing known as the Twilight and if Link steps into the Twilight he turns into a wolf. He is told about how it all happened and what he must do to restore light to the world of Hyrule.

Gameplay

The first 20 minutes is like a tutorial on how the Wii mote works with this game showing you how do a few attacks and riding the horse Epona. Then after that the real adventure begins and you have been a wolf you learn the skills for that but your guide Midna an Imp of the Twilight World guides like Navi really but less annoying. It plays really similar to the Ocarina Of Time which makes it actually feel a lit bit stuck in the past and the whole been there done that sort of feeling but it certainly is a good game but the gameplay can get a little boring at times. You get more action on your horse this time  because you can take on enemies  who ride boars and attack you alot .

Controls

The controls are quiet easy to get use to there is a blue  cursor on the screen and when you use an item it targets enemies or places you want to get to.  You use the B button to use items but lock on targetting is still there if you want it at times. So lock on Targetting from Wind Waker and Ocarina Of Time returns. How do you use your sword well you swing the remote  and if you use the nunchuck and swing the control a full 360 degress you will do a spin attack but a feature I do like is unlike other games you can use your sword while moving. You also learn sword skills as well in the game at certain times but they aren't many different moves that we haven't seen in previous games. So the controls are fine. So overall it handles the Wii controls very nicely and they don't feel tacked on.

Sound and Graphics

Well the graphics seeing as this was a Gamecube and Wii game. Many complained about Wind Wakers Cel Shaded graphics so Nintendo decided to use  realistic graphics fir this game. For a Gamecube game they aren't bad but not the big step forward some of us expected the Twilight World does look dull in terms of graphics but overall they are nice but I liked Wind Wakers graphics better but I think console Zelda games do need to be realistic. you have also got to understand this was only gonna be a Gamecube game at first until Nintendo decided they want to put it on the Wii to make it a good launch game. The sound is not what I expected. It feels flat I think its nowhere as good as its predessors in terms of sound.

Overall Opinion

This game should take you a good 20 to 30 hours to complete that is ignoring the sidequests.  So what is the final verdict well it is a good game but considering its Zelda and it was highly anticapted I think this game suffers from a few problems. It lacks innovation and feels like one of its predessors Ocarina Of Time which isn't a bad thing but it doesn't have that amazing feel that game had. It's graphics I expected slighty better and sometime it can get boring and sometimes it feels like you just want to finish the game. The wolf sections do let it down as well they are very boring and and another problem is its way to easy. Overall though it is a good game  though but it is just missing something that its console predecessors had. It just feels to similar thats all its not a bad thing but I expected so much more.

Resident Evil 4 is now on the Nintendo Wii so how good is it

Resident Evil 4 has appeared on the Gamecube,PS2 and PC. The question is does it play any better and is it worth getting for the Wii.

If you have played the other versions of this game you should know the story. You are Leon Scott Kennedy sent on a rescue mission to rescue the presidents daughter. Once you are past the first chapter you rescue her but you then have to protect her and that is no easy job.

This game like previous installents in the series has an over the shoulder biew which makes it better for targetting enemies. The enemies are different they are villagers infected with a virus.  Later in the game when gets to the night time some have a thing known as La Plagas which is a insect inside them and they can be a pain to hit. The game does though run at a better pace than its predesscors. Also you meet a merchant through out certain areas of the game and he will sell you new weaponary which can be upgraded. There are also quick time events mostly in  cut scenes so don't just watch the cut scene keep you  hands close to the controller because if you have to dodge and you don't you get a game over so be pepared.  Some villagers attack in packs so  best to keep a good weapon on don't waste time with one villager wasting ammo for a top weapon you can knife these ones  it saves ammo. As you should know its not just villagers there are other dangerous creatures in this game.

The sound is fantastic you hear music at certain points  which indicates  you have some villagers or enemies coming towards. The graphics are beautiful it looks fantastic to say this was a port from the Gamecube.

There are tons of extras and unlockables in this game there is so much in this game lots of extras for when you have finished the game. There's only one thing I can say thats wrong with this game and thats Ashley the presidents daughter she is useless and makes it much harder because time to time she can get in the way. Overall though a game that can't be missed.

The game that got me intrested in gaming.

Where do I begin with this game because it was the game that got me into videogamming.

The story is Dr Robotnik AKA Doctor Eggman has trapped animals in badniks and Sonic has to free them but there is also 6 Chaos Emeralds to collect as well in this game quiet a simple and easy story to understand

The game plays very well you play as Sonic a speedy blue hedgehog that can run at a very fast speed. The game has about six zones and a final and there is 3 acts mainly in each.  At the end of the third act you face Doctor Robotnik or Eggman whatever you want to call him. You enregy is rings as long as you have 1 ring you don't lose a life unless you fall down a hole, get squashed or run out of air underwater. If you can get 50 rings and keep them and get to the finish you will see a big ring that lets you enter the special zone to get a Chaos Emerald. The special Zones are very tricky and you have to avoid hitting the goal or you lose the chance of getting a Chaos Emerald you can also get a continue if you get 50 rings in the Special Zone that means if you run out of lives in the game then you can continue. You get to increase the amount of extra lifes you have in the game by hitting Sonic boxes or collect 100 and 200 rings.

There are item boxes that give you items. There are ring boxes you get 10 rings, energy shield gives you protection from losing rings but it only takes one hit/ Invinciblity stars they give you protection from enemies but not from falling down holes, power sneakers which make you go much faster and 1 up boxes gives you a one up and they are mostly in every level. Sonics main attacks are a jump on enemies like badniks but  some will have spikes and might require a spin dash where you just roll into  them. there are some obstacles that can't be hit though. There are also ring loops you can go round and if you spin at exactly the right moment you get a bit more speed.

The graphics are beautiful better at the time than most games that were actually out. The music is catchy as well in certan zones. Speaking of the zones there is a fire and water zone and the water zones are where if you are underwater to long you will drowned unless you find an air bubble or jump out of the water.

Overall this game is very special I think. If you haven't played this game then you have missed a treat.  This game is one of the best Sonic games ever made.

This game shows that not all Zelda games are the same

This is a game critcised by even some Zelda fans because of the way it looks but don't let that fool you here you are in for a treat with this game.

The story to this game is very good. You start out as Link who is celebrating his twleve birthday and he gets a telescope and he spots Tetra a pirate captain grabbed by a huge bird pirates hit it out of the sky and Link goes to investigate and when he comes back with Tetra Aryll his sister is taken instead of Tetra and Link has to go and rescue her.  The story is quiet awesome really because it has so many twists.

The gameplay feels really good you get items which help you get through certain dungeons like Hookshot,Bow and Boomerang and they help you solve puzzles. Your transport is a boat known as the King of Red Lions who is kind of like Navi a guide to help you in your quest ahead. You pick up very important item known as the Wind Waker which can change the winds direction it does play a very important part in the game because the Kind of Red Lions is not a motor boat so you have to change the winds direction with the Wind Waker. It is a nice feature and shows that not every Zelda game is the same. The sailing can be dull witg nothing much to see but the whole game world is huge.

The sound is amazing the Wind Waker has different tunes which give you the chance to warp you to places and control characters in the game. The game has a great soundtrack altogether. The graphics if you can't accept this game for its graphics then it shows that some people perfer graphics over gameplay but I am amazed at how well the graphics fitted in nicely to the game.

The game overall will take at least 15 to 20 hours to complete but if you are up for doing sidequests it will be a goo 30 to 40 hours and there are sidequests in this game. The game is huge and there are tons to see. Overall this game is a very good game not perfect because it isn't that long and the sailing is dull a little bit and it can be a bit easy but overall as a game it is a title that I would recommend to anyone. If you think this isn't a tipical Zelda game because of it's graphics you are wrong its one of the best in the series.

Mario Kart seems to have lost a bit of the magic it had

Mario Kart Wii is the sixth game in the legendary Mario Kart series so how does it compare to the others.

Well the Grand Prix mode is now up to 12 racers instead of 8 and the game for the first time features bikes but it seems as though it has lost its fun factor in Grand Prix Mode. There are 32 tracks 16 old and 16 new and some are actually quiet boring to race on and some require more luck than skill if you are to get first epsically in 150cc. The bikes get rammed by the karts and if you are on a coursen that has no barriers like Rainbow Road the most likely possiblity is you will get knocked off the track. Also if karts ram bikes the bikes virtually stop. You have an automatic and a manual option. Automatic means you can't drift or do powerslides but its easier to control and ,manual  means you can but its harder to steer. You powerslide on basically what colour the boost is if it's blue then youpowerslide a little bit but if you wait longer and it turns yellow you get a bigger boost.

There are about 26 characters and they each have alot of vechiles you can choose but mostly there is no difference between each characters vechiles. You can use  the Wii mote, the Wii mote and Nunchuck, the Classic Controller and the Wii Wheel as options of how you want to play the game. Newcomers will probably use the Wii Wheel. Don't worry the Gamecube Controller is avialable for Mario Kart veterans.

The online is best thing about this game you can get at least 12 players in a race or battle mode at once. It's a shame battle mode has you in teams though should have been in single player. In Grand Prix though though you can race until you get fed up and at the end of each race you get ranking points based on your final position but the more points you gain the more you lose. Say if you have 9000 points and come 2nd you will lose some so it does get difficult and the ranking points only go up to 9999 points it a shame there isn't a leaderboard for that really and unlike Mario Kart DS you don't get the track voted the most popular it is completely a random track so if you think 8 out of 12 people choose Luigi Curcuit and  the rest choose differently then  there is always a chance you might get that curcuit. Online though altogether is the best part because it suffers from no lag at all. All the power ups are there from previous games but there are some new ones as well.

The good thing about the game is if you have Wii friends you can send them a message and it will appear on their message board and you can trade data like time trial data and also find out when they are online. The sound is okay and the graphics don't match the standards set by Mario Galaxy,Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Overall it has plenty to keep you going loads of unlockables and things to do. Online is in my opinion the best thing about this game but overall I am slighty dissapointed by this game. Its fun but I expect a little better.

Mario enters the world of 3D gamming in style..

Super Mario 64 is an awesome game and one of the finest achievements ever in gaming and here's why.

Story

Well Mario is invited to Peaches Castle for a Cake but when he gets there she is trapped in a painting and the only way tro get here back is to get stars and defeat Bowser 3 times.

The gameplay is fantastic the control system suits this game in incredibly well you know why Nintendo created the controller like they did. You don't get the range of power ups like Super Mario Bros 3 you get only a few but you have to collect stars and sometimes it takes alot of skill.  You have to go in paintings and collect 7 in most levels.  The controls give Mario the chance to puch, kick and ground pound. He has new power ups like a wing cap but unlike the prevoius flying  power ups this can only be used for a period of time and then theres the metal cap makes Mario walk underwater and the invisiblity cap which lets him walk through certain areas but to get all these you have to hit switches to activate the power ups.. The bosses are nicely designed. The levels are nicely designed you get water, ice, fire, desert and sky levels and they are al nicely designed and it gives you the oppotunity to explore.

The sound is beautiful and has a nice set of nice tunes. The graphics are really good and go well with the game.

This game is the best way to go into 3D for one of gamming best characters. The game is always a joy to play it has so many wonderful moments and so many different types of levels and it is just fun to run around in glorius 3D. This game set the benchmark for not just 3D platformers but for how a game should be in 3D and not many have matched its greatness.

Super Mario Galaxy is the best 3D platformer around

Mario platformers have always maintained a good standard and this is not just one of the best games in the series it is one of the best games ever made.

The story is Mario is invited to Peachs Castle but as he is about to get there Bowser shows up and lifts Peachs Castle into the sky while Mario is there and he is hit by a magikoopa. He wakes up to find that Bowser has taken Peach to the center of the Galaxy and the only way to get there is by collecting stars.

Super Mario Galaxys gameplay is amazing it controls really well and you go around certain planets upside down and some are small and some are huge but you have to use star launch pads to get to the next part of the level mostly. It has so many amazing moments that you can basically go anywhere in this game. Now onto the power ups Mario can fly like a Bee with the Bumblebee Suit and turn invisible with the Boo Suit and Ice Mario can walk on fire only for a period of time and the fireflower returns and you shake the Wii mote to fire fireballs. There is a Rainbow star which also turns him invincible for a short amount of time and these are key to getting certain stars.

The basic controls are Mario can do a spin attack to send certain enmies spinning or deflect attacks it is with a simple shake of the Wii mote and there is a blue cursor which picks up star bits which access other levels and star tasks. You jump by pressing the A button. Mario has to do certain tasks like get to the end in a time limit, not take damage and beating certain bosses or winning races. He gets blown in a bubble which is where the Wii mote comes into play and he also rides a huge ball which is quiet difficult at first and a manta ray as well andthey are fun to do. Its is just fun.

The music is top quality and sounds amazing to listen some well nice orcatrested music. The graphics are probably the best on the console it looks so colourful.

So my overall opinions is if you own a Wii and want a good experience then get this. It is the best game on the Wii without a doubt.
