They are both solid games, but NHL 09 has so many great features. The Be a Pro mode is awesome and it ties in perfectly with the EA Sports Hockey League.

Hey everyone,I'm Erik from Chicago. I'm excited to be apart of the Giant Bomb community from day one. I really like the work that Jeff, Ryan, Brad and Vinny do as it really puts a good spin on this video game hobby we all seem to have.
My Blog
I rented Soul Caliber IV and bought Geometry Wars. Soul Caliber is kinda fun and I think the online play feels pretty good. I hate fighting Yoda though, he is too damn small. Geo Wars 2 is simple awesome. I think all the new game modes are fun and challenging in their own right. Damn Waves is frickin tough.
