RicaGil just created a new forum post on the topic HDMI in the PlayStation 3

HDMI cables are all the same, the diference is really the brand. Sony HDMI cables are much more expensive than an HDMI of an unknown brand. Monster brand HDMI cables are just more resistant and there might me some extremely minor changes in the image such as the colour but it is almost unnoticable.

It seems some people prefer online, others prefer offline and some like both. But overall, almost everyone has already played online at some point. And like some of you have said, a lot of online games out there don't have co-op multiplayer. Call of Duty 5 is a game I recall that will have co-op multiplayer online and I really like the sound of that.

Yeah, there are been some problems lately because of the Gene Expansion pack but hopefully these will be solved in the next days. I have already seen a lot of people the new maps but the rooms are usually full all the time.

Online has become an even greater part of todays video-games. Most games now come with multiplayer mode, and most of these allow us to play over the internet. We can now fight with or against anyone, anywhere in the world. Single-player is still the base of video-games but I think that in the near future, this may change. There are already a lot of Multiplayer-Online only games out there such as WarHawk and with many more to come like M.A.G..
So, the real question is: How much do you play online?

I personally prefer the online over the single-player ...

Its good to see a lot of familiar faces around here!! ;)
Hopefully in the near future we might see GB improve because I have to be honest and say there are some things here that need to be fixed, changed and created.

Moving with the masses, but...

Hey. I just joined GiantBomb. A lot of people were registering in here so I decided to check it out.
In the end, I ended up joining too but I didn't just joined because everyone else was joining, even tough that was one reason, I joined mostly because I saw some potential here in GiantBomb. Registering in something you dont even like is just stupid and I would never do that. Hopefully I will meet some new users here and we can all talk about what we all like: video-games!! And with that said, I'm off... to play some games!! :P
