TheIneffableBob commented on Brad's Video The DirectX 11-Powered Tech of DiRT 2 PC 7:25PM
@joelalfaro said: " This look beauutiful!   But isn't the water supposed to splash sideways?  Right now it looked as if someone passed a finger through a puddle... beautiful, but... accurate? "I don't think they rendered the splash in order to show the ripples better.

@Diamond said:  @Maniac said: The second mistake was the size of the PC Call of Duty community, in short it's massive.  But lets look at numbers here,  Xfire lists World of Warcrafts daily users at 62,389 daily players where CoD4 sports 101,000(this is only Xfire and the entire community does not use Xfire.) Game-Monitor lists 200k.This is more of a case of how much bigger the 360 community is.  100K's ...

@ITSSEXYTIME said: " Such a load a crap about the "new director" being so hard to implement in DLC.The original director was nothing more than an overrated spawning script and was quite easily recreated by community members.  They're hyping the damn thing like it's much more than it actually is.Bullshit PR aside, I haven't decided on this game yet.  On one hand I hate the shift to the new atmosphere ...

TheIneffableBob commented on Jeff's Video Guild Wars 2 Debut Trailer 5:14PM
@KnightsofRound said: " meh... I tried playing Guild Wars and I found it pretty boring tbh.  Anyone who thinks this is going to give WoW a run for its money is sorely mistaken.  Don't get me wrong... I'm not obsessed with WoW or anything but trying to play Guild Wars after WoW is like playing that CD-I Zelda game instead of a Link to the Past. "Over 6 million Guild ...

TheIneffableBob reviewed Team Fortress 2 1:37AM
Another fantastic addition to the game
The Sniper vs. Spy update is yet another fantastic addition to Team Fortress 2, all for the price of free. It is the largest content update for the game to date, adding six new weapons, four maps (one of which is a community-created map), and nine wearable hats among a bunch of new features and bug fixes. Valve constantly outdoes itself with its major game updates which release every couple ...

You can't just rip the model. They use a completely different model structure, animation and rigging system, incompatible shaders, etc. Somebody would have to rip the texture files, recreate the model, then recreate the shaders.

@TheOGVandalvideo said: " What PC is there to cover. I mean honestly, do you think Laegue of Legends, Zeno Clash, and all these other indie games are going to push headlines? There are plenty of great PC titles to go around, there just aren't a lot of centralized demand for that kind of coverage. "They won't push headlines if nobody covers them. Some of the most interesting games I've played ...
