Wesker added a blog Not Human Enough 1:49PM
Played Too Human with my good buddy EightBitWarrior last night after he rented it and it was my first time playing it as well. The first level was pretty damn cool, and we both started questioning the bad reviews the game received. Then we hit Level 2. OH GOOOOD Level 2. Not only did the level go on for probably 2 hours, it also was one of the most repetitive ...

After playing this game for about an hour, I'm inclined to agree with the complaints of this quick look. Graphics are bad, controls are worse.

@Br3adfan: Yes, that absolutely was my gripe. I guess it's the nature of the beast though. With a Magic game, I don't think they could ever make it as accessible as it needs to be. I reviewed it from the perspective of a new player, and I'm pretty sure that 99% of my fellow gamers also do not find reading a 400 page guide before playing a game to be that ...

Yeah, I've been doing some reviews you could say. A review for Magic: The Gathering on XBLA, Sam & Max Season 1 on XBLA and Wolfenstein 3D on XBLA. I'd like to play and review more games, but being unemployed doesn't help. For Wolf3D, I also decided to do a video review. Here it is:   I might do more of those in the future, who knows. See ya later.

Wesker reviewed Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures Episode 1: Fright of the Bumblebees 2:13PM
True to the Source Material
Telltale’s latest adventure game is Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventure, an episodic title that focuses on the humor of the animated British comedy with the backdrop of some old-school adventure-style gameplay. Thankfully, it stays true to its source material and makes for a fun game as well. The premise is that Wallace & Gromit are in financial trouble, have no income, and are also left with a debt that one of ...

Wesker commented on EightBitWarrior's Topic My thoughts on Combos 8:24PM
I don't know, I don't consider Combos to be an essential part of junk food eating. I do just fine without them. This blog was pretty offensive to me because of that.

You fight the same enemies over and over and over in the same looking environments over and over ad naseum. This is where the game failed. Variety. There is some good ideas there, but you have to wade through 10 feet of shit to get to them.

Haze is as mediocre as they come. (PS3)
It's sad that, even in 2008, we still have to put up with this amount of sheer mediocrity. Haze has been looked at as an interesting first person shooter since it was first announced. Coming from the developers of TimeSplitters, expectations were a bit high. It's also garnered plenty of ...
