About Me
A previous GS memeber under the name red_x2004, I'm a Computer Graphics student hoping one day i could get the chance to work on my own game gaming has always been a part of my life, one of the first games i ever played takes me back to 1995, a Pixelated Golf game that was pretty much enjoyable on a Win95 PC
that happens to be the last thing i can remember about that PC !
Before 2008, Perfection was something i thought impossible in any video game, the only two games that i ever rated 10 were God Of War 2 and the amazing Ocarina Of Time but that changed this year, GTA IV, contender for Game Of The Year, really took my attention not only because I'm a GTA fan but because this game changed my prospective on games in general, it was like a dream come true to me.
I'm a reader that loves to read between the lines, specially when its related to games news.
I play a lot of genres, almost anything I can get my hands on: FPS, RPG, Soccer, feel free to add me to your friends list.Cheers!

The Incredible Hulk
..is that they are tough!
I'm taking this course called Fine Arts 2, one of the most basic questions in the universe was present in the exams paper, the question was:
"What does CMYK stand for?"
....
Shame on you ZeroCast, not knowing something you have already taken and read about before!
But what the hell, at least I answered what RGB stands for; i would have killed myself if I hadn’t answered that.
Also, here is something I did on Photoshop (in like half an hour), it’s actually a book cover, tell me whatcha you think.
Oh look it's the Hulk!

The Last Remnant,
Need for Speed: Undercover,
DICE,
Parkour,
Mirror's Edge,
Call of Duty: World at War,
Resistance 2,
Gears of War 2
Thirteen days have passed since the beginning of November and up until now two of the most anticipated sequels have been released; they are the inevitable Gears of war 2 and Resistance 2.
Now if you haven't beaten Gears of war 2 already, and I'm sure you did, this game has received a warm 94% ratio on Gamerankings thus making it number 5 on the top rated games of 08 also selling 2.1 Million copies in its first week of release which was expected from a game of its standards, fans of the original Gears must have been waiting for the sequel and let’s just say they won't be disappointed, the only question that remains is: Will the 2nd Gears beat the sales of its predecessor? I guess we will have to wait to find out.
R2 on the other hand is apparently not what everyone expected, specially the Single player portion of the game, it has been described by Vinny's review as having a "horrible and rubbish single-player campaign" but the game happens to stand out when it comes to the Multiplayer, he said:"...a unique and rewarding Multiplayer shooter experience...", Resistance 2 has received an average ratio of 88% which is not a bad thing in anyway, and it's definitely a must get if you're a PS3 owner.
World At War
Oh there will be Flamethrowers!
Yesterday also marked the release of Call Of Duty:World At War, this is undoubtedly a game I was looking forward to specially after the great success of Modern Warfare, some people who played the beta thought this is identical to COD4 with just a cover change and a WWII theme all over it, others said it packs new stuff to make it worth the wait.
From my perspective, I asked myself the following question: what's not to like about a game based on the COD4 engine? At its core, this is WWII being done under the cover of Modern Warfare, people who loved the 4th installment and now say "I won't play this game just because it's a WWII First Person Shooter" just doesn't make sense to me, this is an amazing game and it's pretty much equivalent to the intense battles of the original COD's but now it’s redone for even a better experience packed with all the greatness of COD4 within it.
Mirror's Edge
Oh yes, Mirror's Edge, when I first heard about this game I wasn't really sure what to think, will this be another great DICE game or will it be a run-of-the-mill FPS action adventure? Well, let’s just say it turned out to be a good game with good ideas but with stumbles along the way, doing parkour moves in first person view definitely looks intense and adrenaline pumping but when it comes to gun combat the game doesn’t seem to grasp the good feel of a weapon and might end up unsatisfactory for some people.
Now that's what i call a stand of Faith.
The visual side of the game looks absolutely crisp, clean and bursting with life, DICE has made a fantastic use of the UT3 engine adding a new light system of its own which gives the game a great realistic and brightly colored visual style.
November is not over and lots of games are yet to come, the next 5 days will be jam-packed with all kinds of games ranging from JRPGs to Street Racing, one can only hope he could buy all these great games and play them after a long wait.

What would you like to see added to the DS hardware?
I won't say that I'm surprised about a new DS, the DS Lite has been around for more than 2 years and doing pretty well on the market. Nintendo is trying to change the pace of things from time to time and that is not a bad thing,in fact, this new DS they have been talking about does have some good changes, adding music playability is a great addition,i would love to listen to my music on the go and at the same time play games, camera functionality on the other hand seems a bit too far, you could by a mobile phone for that and it will definitely do the trick.
This also keeps me wondering if i should get a DS Lite, I'm determined on buying one i just don't want to regret after buying it.
