@mightyduck: If you and your wife are into horror then I would highly recommend you play it together. I played the whole game with my girlfriend in the room and it certainly helps with the scariness. I would say it's on par with Outlast in that sense. It's definitely most scary to begin with so if you can get over the first few hours you wouldn't have a problem. Have you tried the beginning hour demo? Outside of that I would say if you are into your horror and your games which it sounds like you are; you absolutely have to atleast try this game. I'd recommend it over any horror game released in the last 5 years.
So yeah. Thought this might be of interest to the Giant Bomb community. My podcast, Super Horror Bros, usually focuses on horror within gaming and film but this week we did a big E3 special. Basically going through all 5 conferences (and Nintendo) and discussing what we liked and disliked. Mostly we just wanted to talk about Resident Evil 7.
