@DocNemesis:

That would be cool but by no means anywhere near as important as the issues I mentioned. Goblin farming interrupted by the occasional event is not good gameplay.

D3's greatest crime is that it absolutely fails to live up to its predecessor in almost every way that matters. I still sunk a good 250+ hours into it, and even killed inferno Siegebreaker on hardcore before 1.03. When the patch I killed a few champ packs and realized that all challenge had been removed from the game. I logged off and never looked back. I rarely complain about this, but when I do it is not because I didn't get my money's worth, it's because I was hoping for a worthy sequel.

Maybe if it had some of D2's qualities I could have stayed for those. A satisfying and diverse loot system, great itemization, meaningful build experimentation and a gameplay experience centered around boss/champion kills rather than goblins and chests -- all features that could have saved D3 for me.

Dark Souls on PC is not a fan service, nor an act of kindness. Developers want to make appealing games to sell as many copies as possible. When we complain we help them find out what appeals to us. We end up liking their game more and they end up selling more of them. It's a win-win situation.

I just type with the two fingers next to my thumbs, except to click special buttons like space/leftalt (left thumb), ctrl/capslock/shift (left pinky), enter (right pinky) etc. I get about 60 wpm like this, which isn't great but at least it *looks* like I type fast because my fingers have to move so much :D
