I've been playing the video games since the early eighties. My first console was an NES, which my dad hogged to play the trap shooting mode of Duck Hunt. It came with ROB, which was mostly useless.
PC gaming is still my favorite, though. I have fond memories of working out how to get enough conventional memory free on our 486 to get Falcon 3 to load, only to repeatedly crash my F16 or be shot down by SAMs. Also, command line UART settings for multiplayer Doom (pre-DWANGO) was great! Until your mom picks up the phone and starts talking to the modem fuzz.
These days it's Steam and XBox pretty much, with a smattering of Android and iOS on the side.
