She even started a feud with people on twitter and made it seem like the only reason people didn't like her was because of her gender.  "

yea i never posted on forms tell GiantBomb and it was because i never wanted to. Giantbomb was the first website with good topics and reasonable discussion and even with things take a turn for the worse it never seams to get in to the hate speech that is so prevalent on the internet. Also the spell check is a nice touch it makes everyone look a little smarter then they actually are.

There's nothing wrong with comparing systems. If any two things are similar, they will be compared. What's important is that discussion is factual and logical, and not trollish and fanboyish. I actually find nothing wrong with that article (other than its rudimentary analysis).  
 
Despite what some people may think, the GB community is not significantly better than others in regards to systems wars, not until recently anyway. For those that were not around or forgot, we used to have a little something called "The Wii Defense Force", an organized group in which the members' sole purpose was to go around and harass other forum users if anything even remotely negative was said about the Wii or its games. They would even troll topics that indirectly critiqued the Wii, such as topics on graphics. This was all in spite of the fact that the other systems got an equal if not greater amount critique (such as Xbox 360 RROD, PC DRM issues etc),  yet did not form a troll force of their own. Luckily, most of the members have either left, changed, or have been banned, so the community is a lot healthier. But don't think for a second that members of this forum aren't capable of mass stupidity in regards to video game systems.
