@Ahmad_Metallic: my was 98 too(i only saw my dad crying 3 times in my life:when my sister got in a acident,when my grandma died, and when zidane scored that header in 98 finals)but crazy about soccer as he is, he made me watch all the brazil's matches in 70,82,86 n' 94 cups(he din't made me watch 74,78 n'90 cause he didn't wanted to torture me :D) various times since i was 8(he has a collection o vcr's that he taped) asked what i thought...really educated me about soccer...besides i was always interested about 94, cause we won with a somewhat limited team(solid defense and romario kicking ass are the answer) that interest made me learn about the shame of 90(what journalist called the dunga's era)and all the bashing that him(dunga) received that made him scream PORRA(fuck in portuguese) when he lift up the cup in 94 and why he hate the press so much...making this team a mirror of 94 (with a better defense and worse attack)is probally his answer to the people that bashed(and bashes) him so much in his career
@Ahmad_Metallic: i don't like it very much...i think dunga put the 94 spirit in it and that' a no in my book...that's why in a first moment i didn't wanted brazil win, just to the world prove him wrong, but then the cup came and with it all the patriotism that just come to brazil every 4 years and 'cause of that i found my self cheering for that team...hell i'm even praisin felipe melo's "striking skills"
edit:forgot to comment...this team has something that no other brazilan team had...the best defense in the world. come on julio cesar as the keeper, lucio n' juan backing, thiago silva in the bench(if one of them break a leg or something)... it's almost not fair with other teams
@NunsandRoses: we won 5 world cups...4 of them(i'm counting out 94 if u're wondering) was by kicking ass like no one, with players doing things with the ball that no one could even imagine to do it(garrincha and pele in 58, garrincha again in 62,almost all the players in 70 and ronaldo e rivaldo in 02) that's why we like more of 82(zico, socrates n' falcao on the same team) than 94, even if 82 lost to rossi's italy and 94 won after 24 years...so remenber this...in soccer, ins't just about brazil winning...is about brazil winning in a amuzing way...
@gosukiller: to bad for robben, ramires' out 'cause of the yellow card so felipe melo probally gonna play and his bussiness card is red...bloddy red:D .... changing the subject. i liked michel bastos playing in the midfield only dunga tinhks that he's still a left back(since he went to france a long time ago he is a midfielder) but he's winning games so i'm not gonna complain much :p
enjoying the match so far (even if robinho n' kaka aren't playing shit) only thing missing is felipe melo kicking ass and breaking legs(this is actually a good tactic against the glass legs of sjneider and robben...let felipe melo loose) :D
