Games I have beaten

Refer to list name. Doesn't mean that I've unlocked 100% of everything, just that I've seen the ending credits.

List items

  • This is the first official game I have ever owned, and let me tell you, I beat it frontwards, backwards, up, down... almost every way you can think of. Don't think I ever got 100% though.

Tuptup and me got to be good friends... I almost even liked it better than Mario Kart!

  • Missed additional worlds along the way, and skipped many of the optional routes. Still was fun though, and took no more than a couple days to beat.

  • Beaten on a Macintosh. The CD version had such nice pretty graphics! Actually, I only had the demo when I was a little kid, but about a decade later I got it back and finally beat the thing.

  • Man, I had some good times with this game as a kid. Never mind that I always died within the first 3 or so screens. Scariest game I can remember from back then, especially when I got down to the lava filled levels... the music always freaked me out.

  • Another game I beat on the Mac. Let me tell you, I was SO greatful that Lucasarts bothered to port to it.

I actually got to the very, very end of this game and couldn't beat it. It scared the crap outta me because if you lose Indiana Jones turns into some crazy Atlantian God and dies, so I refused to play it any more. Later, I would find enough courage to return and conquer those dumb Nazis.

  • Fairly hard, but only enough to actually make you pay attention to what is going on. The boss battles are fine as long as you realize that you'll have to die a few times to get what their moves are. I was disappointed by the story and graphics, which were identical if not worse than the original -- and that was on a last-gen console!

  • Pretty good. As the reviews say, the atmosphere is perfect, the setting intriguing, but the gameplay could have used more polishing to an otherwise perfectly executed game.

  • I enjoyed the pace of gameplay in this game more than anything else. I expected another simple first-person shooter, but the RPG elements slowed me down and made me use strategy in every move.

  • Awesome gameplay with a difficulty that easily makes up for its meager predecessor on the DS.

  • Beautiful, inspiring, and with gameplay mechanics that make you think abstractly in ways you never imagined. I liked it so much that I even got the speed run achievement, making it one of the few last-gen games that I have completed 100% of everything.

  • It had a little bit of charm, but honestly this game was pretty disappointing. Frustrating isometric platforming combined with boring RPG gameplay does not a good game make.

  • I never played Diablo in my youth, and I find that everytime I try I am kind of put off by the outdated graphics and resolutions. Imagine my delight when I came across Torchlight, a Diablo clone with prettier graphics. The gameplay is kind of monotonous, and there are far too many health potions to make things a challenge, but the presentation is so polished that I found the game quite enjoyable.

  • This game turned out to be a delightful surprise. I initially took it for a super-geeky wannabe Star Trek fest, but after spending some time with it I really started to enjoy this intricate universe that BioWare crafted. Recommended.

  • The astounding level of technical achievement along with the unique historical setting makes this a game unlike any that I have played before. The missions can get pretty monotonous, but the unbridled attention to detail more than made up for it, at least in my opinion.

  • I found this game hard to get into, but once I took it seriously I found it to be one of the most intense playing experiences I have ever had. Playing this reminded me a lot of how I felt when I first played the original Resident Evil, only with better graphics and game mechanics.

  • While this game gives you lots of space with plenty to do, I still found it to be quite unsatisfying, probably due to the quirky gameplay mechanics and the EXTREMELY long winded dialogs. The broad, epic story was pretty cool though.

  • I love the old platformer Metroid games, so I was overjoyed to play this game. The innovative aiming system is something that these sorts of games should have implemented long ago. I've beaten it three times already, so I can say it is worth playing.
