My life this week and Fallout: New Vegas SLIGHT SPOILER
By adamtull 2 Comments
So, this week has been very busy, I have had two assignments due in, both rushed, I got made an offer from a gaming college for a 3 year course which gives me definite work at the end in a "TIGA" (The Independent Game Association) approved studio in Britain, only thing is it's £5000. This is a dream job but that amount of money. :S Either way, I got Fallout: New Vegas through the post on Friday and have been playing it since. I was a massive fan of the Fallout 3 which was my first then played the first two. All great games in my eyes. However FNV has thrown me a little bit. It has kept all the best bits of Fallout 3 and given it more such as gun mods and different ammo types (big fan of micromanagement) but I feel the quest system is different, and not in a good way. I find myself halfway through quests not knowing where to go next and I can't tell if I am being stupid or the quests were rushed when being planned. Now, there are the three factions, NCR, The Legion and Mr.House. You can choose to side with one of them and beat the other two or beat all three, so I understand, I am currently trying to beat all three as I have removed Mr.House first and planning to take everyone with my army of Mk II Securitrons, well at least I think that is the plan, that's all I have understood from what Yes Man, my assistant who seems to control what I do, has told me. I don't know if it's the way I am playing, by choosing to take all three or if I'm just being pedantic about it all but there doesn't seem to be a structure or a good structure which I have come to expect with this series. I love everything else about the game, the guns, the people, how awesome the NCR Desert Ranger's look in their black armour. I currently waiting on the Red Dead Redemption Undead DLC to be released on Tuesday and Fable 3 on Friday which is yet another game I am very excited for especially with all the new features and much better Co-op Play. :)
Have a Good week and thank you for the read.
