Eff Kickstarter...

Or at least it continues to not be for me. I don't understand how so many people have so much money they want to give to developers to make games that may or may not ever come out and may or may not ever be good.

But that's nothing that has never been argued before. I really hoped Double Fine wouldn't have this problem.

Spaceteam guys claim the Android version is coming "soonTM" and it will have multiplayer with iPhone versions over WiFi but not Bluetooth (which is totally fine).

Thought someone might still want to know this. They posted this stuff on their Facebook page.

@rebgav: The game doesn't offend me, I don't need to play it if I don't want to. No video game offends me regardless of it's content (well, a game where the aim was to kill my children would offend me, so scratch that).

I mean games like this just aren't what I'm looking for. I see more and more stuff like this these days and it just turns me off.

We don't have to agree on this, I'm just giving my opinion. Most of the comments so far on this article have been very positive. I don't think it hurts the discussion for someone to give an alternative view.

It did offend you because you got so angry about something on the internet simply existing and being discussed in a non-negative manner that you had to come in and write a comment to dish out your own form of internet justice and take a dump on it. A rational and reasonable human being would realize that Depression Quest is not for them and avoid the article and/or comments. You should have just moved on with your life.

And as I type that, I remember that is what I do with people that say terrible things in comments sections on the internet.

Note: I only read page 1 of comments.

I felt oddly hooked to the game for a few hours in the closed beta simply because it was a very strange game. It is far from "AAA" quality but I really do hope it finds a niche. The part that turned me off was seeing things in the cash shop that increase the chance to not be perma-killed by like 10% or things to buy to apply to individual items so that other players (or monsters) could not steal those specific items upon your death. That stuff is really lame to put in a cash shop.

As far as the thing being pulled from Steam, it just seems like normal MMO launch issues. Give it a few days. As always, it is silly that we have to put up with MMOs having launch issues almost every time one comes out, but this is a lower budget one (even though it is coming out through SOE).

Amazon offering XCOM for PC for $25

Hope you guys don't mind me asking for a trade.

I've stuck myself with $20 of Steam Wallet funds after the sale, and the big game I want now is XCOM yet its on Amazon. Feel free to add me to Steam and we can work out a fair exchange here for us both. I've got some TF2 stuff if that is your thing or I could just throw $5 of Paypal into the deal. We'll see.

I've tried the normal trade avenues of steamtrades and /r/steamgameswap, but no luck so far.

Hey duders, I need some help!

I had to reformat my hard drive since playing episode 2 and I made the poor assumption that TWD saves were in my Steam Cloud, but that turns out not to be true. I am without a save file and ready to dive into episode 3. I can't seem myself replaying 4-5 hours of the first two episodes again.

Can anyone upload their save files in the name of all that is good? I can't be too picky about other people's choices, but I will list my decisions (only 2 episodes worth) in a spoiler tag.

I saved Duck and Doug in episode 1. I killed Danny (first brother) and spared the second brother. I stopped Clem from eating the human meat and took the supplies in the car at the end. Oh and I helped Kenny kill Larry :(

Please guys I really would like a decent save file without having to replay the game :(

@Grimhild: Well, I guess I never really thought about balance and all that :P I always thought VS would be the most played simply because they look cool.

I got my "Technical Test" invite today. I don't know what to say about it (though I'm not actually supposed to say anything about it :P). It is still, understandably, in rough shape. I cannot really get a grasp for what this would be like if things weren't so janky. When Smed says this will be a "real" beta, it looks like he means it.

Anyway, fucking thrilled. I just hope that being in the "Technical Test" means I will also be in the official beta when that starts.
