Super Smash Brothers 4 Part 34: Banjo Kazooie

The Video Game culture has quite a number of icons, and while Nintendo has created quite a number of them, they certainly dont have a monopoly on awesome characters. as such, it is my distinct pleasure to create a list of third party presence in Super Smash Brothers unlike anything we have seen in the series prior. Every weekday I'll bring you a blog on the third party characters that deserve a place in Nintendos next Civil War. I am completely open to suggestions, and if you feel a deserving character has been left out, tell me why they should make it and I'll potentially make some changes. 

Rules:
  • No more than four characters per franchise
  • Characters will be known for their video game presence over all other multimedia endeavors
  • Characters must be important and in almost all cases have a distinct personality

Banjo Kazooie
Banjo/Kazooie
Synopsis: Banjo and Kazzoie are one of the best pairs in gaming. Banjo the bear is typically laid back and calm, while Kazooie the bird is much more active and excitable. Their nemesis is Gruntilda, a witch that lives in Sprial Mountain.
Notable Appearances: Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie

You're only counting them as a single character?
Yeah, this is definitely one of those "never gonna happen" selections. :D

Can I add Conker to the list, since Bad Fur Day was a continuation of many things that BK did?

I could see them being one character with Kazooie in the backpack for special attacks. :)

I interpreted "BK" as Baten Kaitos, even though it clearly means Banjo Kanzooie. I think something's wrong with me. :D

YES!! That would be interesting if they was in Brawl.  I could imagine that happening if Rare stuck with Nintendo.

YES, YES, and YES! Sure, I have a Banjo-Kazooie avatar. Nevertheless, I think this would be SUCH A GREAT ADDITION! I think they would fit in so well with the series. Sure, it's a longshot, but if they could work out something with Rare, it would be dope. With all the different moves they have, I think they would be a perfect fit. I also wouldn't be opposed to seeing Mumbo Jumbo as a fighter as well, but perhaps he'd be better left as an assist trophy. Yeah, maybe I'm dreaming, but this is something that would totally get me to buy Smash Bros 4. For the record, I never bought the original or Brawl.
