At this point who would be dumb enough to put money into this and expect to get a good game?

Yeah, my very first thought on looking at that screenshot was that nintendo was getting a civ game.

After play this a while I have to say it's not worth nearly $30. This game is bad RPG maker terrible .

Please don't make the same mistake I did. If you must buy a final fantasy on the ios, get one of the ones that's not $30

[e] Hell, if you're that desperate for a square rpg and you're willing to pay a lot, get the world ends with you solo. It's $18, but the price is justified beacuse the actual DS game still costs $20 and they had to do some significant work to put it on a device with only one screen. Plus it's a great game.

I seriously don't understand why people see Fargo's name and go "OH YES YES YES". Yeah, he made some good games...a long time ago. Hopefully, Wasteland 2 brings back that former glory, but I'm just not seeing a worthwhile braintrust behind the game.

With all that said, the screenshot looks like a screenshot of a top-down post-apocalyptic world. We've NEVER seen that before. = /

I'm pretty sure Obsidian was just hired to write some of the lore stuff.

@bkbroiler: I think you are forced to buy the whole season on everything but xbox (and maybe ios) so I don't think that really matters.

Because we don't feel like rebuying a game we already have? There is a big difference between buying a fucking burger and buying a video game. It has nothing to do with a free hand out, it is wanting the ability to play games from your past generation library on your new console.

I guess you feel like someone should come turn all your DVDs into Blurays then?

Funny you should mention that since my blue ray player plays DVDs no problem.

It was dumb to put Mass Effect clone XCOM up against Mass Effect 3 in the first place.
