I guess it's sunk cost. No need to torture myself over what are effectively phantasms.

Tales from the Bargain Bin!!

So, the bargain bin has yielded three games.  It could have been fourth, but no matter how much I think Jet-Set Radio Future might be cool, I think I'm just afraid of button combo based trick skating as a barrier to my exploration of the city.  Time will tell, they're about 10 bucks a piece in that bin of bargains, and I think I'm the only person left in The City with a plain old XBox.  Anyone wants to convince me JSRF is a good game, by all means try, I don't mind losing ten bucks if I think it was worth it.

So, my loot consists of arguably good games:

Gladius (I'm foaming at the mouth with this one.  I love Roman Empire stuff, even when I think I'd hate it if I was actually living through that period of time, and a tactics system with all kinds of neat, original ancient world fantasy stuff promises to be interesting).

Getting Up (Jeff Gerstmann still stands by it.  It was the soundtrack that made me cave.  I'll just call the game Getting Up for the sake of brevity).

Aeon Flux (I said arguably.  And although the movie went crazy, I'm a fan of the TV show like nothing, and the designers said they were trying to hybridize the two.  So, should be interesting enough for its theoretical nod to the TV series.  I'll find out in a bit, I guess).

I'll probably record my reflections here if moved to do so.

My wrestling with the idea of getting JSRF has got the Concept of Love stuck in my head.
