The Computer History Museum has just posted a movie-sized lecture by Will on game design. Say what you like about Spore or the Sims, I think he's one of the more savvy and approachable game theorists:

And as a side note, Yuji Naka of Sonic fame has a new company, but for the life of me I can't get the message out because I can't apparently add companies to Giant Bomb. Maybe it's a symptom of the illusion of us having a lot of power with all these errors, but with an interactive site like this I'm more likely to feel frustrated when I can't add something than when some random games digest is oblivious to something new.
