it's Resident Evil 2 for me, but 3 is a fantastic game. not to mention nemesis scared the living daylights out of me years back.

I've thought of making one of these sorts of lists, but I bought the THQ complete pack on Steam (50%) and I am too lazy to include all of that.

@AjayRaz: Hell yeah, RE2 is the best in the series. The music, the ambiance, the monsters, the Tyrant. they were scary at the time. I really miss the old fashioned Resident Evil with its fixed camera angles, pre-rendered backgrounds and claustrophobic experience. RE4 and 5 are good games but can never beat the PS classics.

absolutely. i do miss them, but they're gone for the best. those games would be wildly outdated and clunky if they were still being made today.

while many people do argue that the step that Resident Evil took into th action genre ruined the series, i believe it was a great move by Capcom.. even though RE5 itself plays a bit dated.

Yeah that's true. If the series still uses the original gameplay mechanics today it would be extremely outdated.  While RE5 is a great game, I do believe could've done it better. Just something about it that doesn't make it as desirable as 4. Even Kenichi Ueda, the director, said that he will not be directing a sequel because of the reception and sales in RE5.

Out of curiosity, do you have PC version of Duke Nukem 3D? If you do, I suggest you download the High Resolution Pack for it. It's great.

I'm honored to be the psychopath who more or less bullied you into buying Picross 3D. That game really is all sorts of magical.

my apologies for the late response. GB didn't notify me for whatever reason. Picross is indeed magical. it's seriously a contender for my GOTY and that's after playing RDR.

How good did you find the Yakuza games? I wanted to get them many times.

they're actually pretty damn great. apart from the bad voice acting in the first one, it was a lot of fun and sometimes made me laugh because of the ridiculousness in the combat.

i've recently started the second one, but i didn't get very far. from what i played though, that game is 10 times better in the combat, and not to mention the Japanese voice overs.. which i would of been better without, but at least there's no bad voice acting from what i can tell.

it sucks if you can't find them. they're kind of underrated and i've had a blast playing through the first one. more people need to play it!
