Code geass was a realy good anime and an awesome Mecha show, its a bit of a you love it or hate it anime, however I have rewatched it from Episode 1 to episode 50 about four or five times.

Ignore the fanservice in the trailer its not that bad....the second season gets pretty bad but still watchable.

Martian Successor Nadesico is a Mecha, Space Opera, screwball comedy,harem/love triangle/Love octagon,Parody show which aside from Gurren Lagann I do not think there has been any much more mecha parody anime's. Which Laggan dealt with super robot anime Nadesico deals with Real Robots. To explain simply....G Gundam is Super Robots, Gundam Wing is Real robots.

Blue Gender is a mecha anime that's weird and I do not know if its good...I mean I watched and yet....it was kinda cool. Decent I'd say it was decent. Weird space bugs on earth and most population is wiped out from them.

As for a short OAV series...at 6 hours long. I cannot recommend Orguss 02 ENOUGH! Orguss the original tv series is good too even if you have to watch terrible subs through hong kong bootlegs, however Orguss 02 is a feast for the eyes and mind more so in Blu ray. What if medieval europe got guns and giant robots dropped to the sky accelerating them to WW2 levels of technology but with GIANT ROBOTS!....Ps there is even bigger robots than GIANT ROBOTS in this.

Here is the Original Orguss. Which you might see it has some similarity with Macross, Orguss full title is Super Dimension Century Orguss. it is from the same people who did Macross.

Also check out Dangaioh and Mazinkaiser SKL, they are both Super Robot animes which I do not like ,yet these two made me like them.

I saw the Mechanic Resurrection

........8/10.....for all the wrong reasons! It was hilariously bad it became good. Like wooooow that script was written by a 5 year and his older brother.

Basicly it is the true Hitman film, so much so it steals accidental kills from Hitman and also it lets you follow Jason Statham as he plans an accident....gets dressed.....walk in set up every little thing....even what him climb out of a window and watch each step of him climbing up...then EVERY move he move he makes like arm here ZOOM in LEG HERE ZOOM IN....I spent 20 minutes watching Jason Statham doing the boring stuff they cut out of movies lols.

I mean like.....the film has a bit were they go on about this inescapable prison on an island with shark infested waters...flash cut to him buying all the gear he needs, rope and stuff...including off the shelf Shark Repellent cream called "Shark Off"....this film is not a comedy.....it is serious in its delivery.

It was just soooo bad it was soooo good.

Cutthroats was a good one, very much Sid Meier's Pirates which to this day I often hear "That ships heavily ladened siiiiiiir!"

Weird choice just by title, so here is Pirates of the Caribbean movie tie in game. Which it was unofficially Sea Dogs 2, which Sea Dogs is like Pirate Elder Scrolls, waaaaay better than AC Black Flag for the private life, you're on the ground as a captain and even on boats and islands. Can easily swap out your ships and upgrade by stealing them. which a better ship is better than yours...so not the easiest.

The real updated Sea Dogs is what @dray2k: has suggested which was City of Abandoned ships. I still need to check that out which is supposed to be great.

So you get Sea Dogs, then Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (its basicly Sea Dogs 2 with PoC movie story half arsed into the last part of the game story.) then Age of Pirates and then Age of Pirates City of Abandoned ships,

So there you have a large selection of some of the more pirate games and for space like already said. Rebel Galaxy.

Black Magic M-66 was not only the written baby of Masamune Shirow, who created, wrote and drew the manga it was based from. It was also his directorial debut!....and only directorship.

Shirow became pretty vetted by producers, executives and the back room politics of animation studios he was already in a bad mood that the only thing that might change his tune would be the critics reviews.....which was not at all kind to Black Magic M-66. It was that moment Shirow announced he would never do another directorship again and he will have no part in animation ever again.

He had decided that manga is the only thing that matters and when people came to him for the license of his creations he was pretty easy on letting them do whatever as long as they paid him to fuel his manga and secluded lifestyle. Weirdly we ended up with Appleseed being fairly representative of the base source, Dominion Tank Police feeling like it was actualy done by Shirow, New dominion Tank police later was a faithful expansion of sort. Which maybe it was because alot of these were made while Shirow cared during the time he was making Black Magic and a little after, so he would have had involvement.

Roll around 1990 or such when Production I.G would have approached for Ghost in the Shell write, Shirow threw it at them and enjoyed the sum of money. Why we end up with Mamoru Oshii's envision of Ghost in the shell which rolled into the history books.

You may have not know it Hamst3r but when you were watching Black Magic M-66 it was an important part of anime history, due to it flopping events lead to Gits 1995 to happen as it did and we all know how that shaped anime to this day. So maybe calling Black Magic M-66 The anime Terminator may be right....for the wrong reasons lol.

Looking back on Black Magic it realy did alot of stuff I never saw before and very well. such as the complete inhuman motion and abilities of the Android, the combat pairing when the two fight together is just a simple case of using the bipedal form to its fullest even if its 180 head turns and such, yes we get that in alot of things yet not so much, not so fluidly and not so well done.

Then there is many animation shots and experiments that are just not normal, the almost panoramic moment in the elevator the stuff the animators had to animate for that was not normal or even friendly to the animators lols.

I am actualy thinking we should do a movie night with folks, a movie night of The Guyver live action at minimum. As its a film that people who do not know Guyver or have never seen the film their reactions at a few thousand moments in the film is worth it. Even basicly as a film it defies logic.

There is a decent quality version on youtube and we can just use https://sync-video.com/ if anyone was up for this terrible idea, we could do Discord with mic and chat, a more intimate skype mic and chat, or just use the rooms chat function.

I tell ye the two Guyver first film hit levels that even Uwe Bowell cannot hit yet its compelling to watch. Guyver 2 hits levels 90% of adaptations never hit and considering Dragonball Evolution hitting the mark so badly, even Guyver 1 hits the adapation mark well....just when there is a director named Screaming Mad George at the helm.....

I am still trying to figure out stuff in with Kira and Killer Queen...all I know.....hands! (also do not tell me)

I animation was relatively ok but the scale and such on Seguchi vs Kira made me go "this is weird...." when it dosnt look so weird next to Josuke and others.

I realised that Guyver 2: Dark Hero is actualy a spoiler to the rest of Guyver. Otherwise...let's enjoy Guyver music!

The music was always awesome, it pulled my strings and still does.

The Uk Manga Dub intros and outros which are good, but the Japanese ones have so much more power too them!

Madox 01 I adore and love and for all its faults you can simply go "its only 45 minutes long." saying that I did spend £20 on the DVD...I FULLY WELL KNEW BACK IN 2002 it was only 45 minutes long....same for Chronicles of Riddick : Dark Fury...and I do not regret spending 4x the value you can get them nowadays or even less.

I love and adore old 80s Guyver and I do not adore 2005 Guyver....I got into many fights on a Guyver forum about it in 2005. 2005 Guyver is faithful to the Manga...and it made realise I do not like the manga.

I do not know if you can say the first Guyver Movie is "so bad its good" I mean like jesus christ even the editing fucking tries to kill you, and then you have Jimmy Walker in it, then you have six hundred other weird choices by Screaming Mad George...that's the actual credited name to the director no joke look http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0313608/. I wont spoil some of the moments..mostly Jimmy Walker...buuuut.....oh boy...oh my fucking god, you need to see it Raw Hamst3r go in knowing nothing.

Guyver 2 however that has Steve Wang http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0911036/?ref_=tt_ov_dr and it is very good, it is pretty bad...but its also very good. I won't spoil anything but the last fight is fucking awesome!
