I can confirm at least the Wii Selects part of the story. I work at Target and we've had the Wii Sports and Twilight Princess rereleases in the new release lockup for about a week. We haven't gotten word of any console price drop, though it's been at $170 for a week or two now.

I work in Target electronics, and both the white and blue Lite models have been clearanced for a while now. Probably a good sign that this is true.

The only way I could see a video news wrap-up being entertaining is if it was roundtable style, not just one guy talking to a camera. Also, features, features, and more features.

I've had mine on for ~12 hours today and it's still at 3/4 battery. This is with 2 hours of gameplay, wireless and Streetpass on.
