Jeremy Parish over at IGN started playing through this on 3DS and breaking it down in his Anatomy of a Game series and inspired me to dust off my old cart and finish it. So far it's greatly better than I remember. My only complaint is the lives system and moreso being forced to start back at the sleeping Princess' palace. Otherwise it's fun and I LOVE the combat.

Christine Love does it again after Digital: A Love Story. While I'll admit that I was wanting a bit more after the first ending, the alternate protagonist fullfilled my expectations and then some. If you like Visual Novels or just good writing; you owe it to yourself to try this game.

The game was wonderfully paced and a lot of fun to play through. 60 or 70 hours still feels like it was only 20, that should say a lot. Looking forward to the sequel.

Picked this up again to play alongside the Endurance Run that Ryan and Patrick did. At least we have so much of the awesome guy recorded.

Imagine the extended cutscenes in a game like Final Fantasy VI, with no combat involved, and then stretch it out to about five hours. That's how this game plays. It tells a good story as well. Plus it has a nice soundtrack. I didn't enjoy the ending as much as most seem to, but it's worth playing if you enjoy games that just tell a story.

Great little puzzle platformer with amazing art AND music. It brings to mind the golden period of Super Nintendo platformers when there was a lot of experimentation against the norm.

Straightforward and fun shooter that controls very well. I wish more over-produced shooters could capture the fundamentals that this game grasps.

I actually picked this up not long after it's release based on the enjoyment of the bombcast. I'm enjoying it's straightforward nature and good fundamentals now that I've dusted it off. The only downside is the Halo Flood analogs and some of the dumber zombie styled monsters.
