At my high school no calculus courses were required but they were offered. The first was pre-calculus, which anyone could take if they took a math class all four years that covered the basics of limits, integrals, and derivatives. If you chose to take two math classes one year or Algebra I in middle school, then you could take calculus your senior year without ever having to double up on math classes.
I almost never play a game on it's hardest difficulty. To me, video games aren't so much about giving myself a challenge, but seeing all the sights and going through the experience that's been made. Typically I find it best to do that on the normal setting.
I don't find it fun to repeat one section over and over until i finally get it right, or having to grind if it's an rpg. There are a few exceptions to that though, where i'll play the game for the satisfaction of completion (like super meat boy, the 2d mario games, or just about any puzzle game).
I've seen a lot of people saying the combat is way to easy on normal difficulty, but I'm really not having that problem. Maybe it's just because I haven't done many of the main story quests, but I'm about level 20 and still run into guys that can take me down to the smallest sliver of health in a single hit. I may just be wandering around areas that I really shouldn't be in. Probably the only thing that's letting me keep going is that fact that I have an invincible dog for a companion right now.
Shit man, you telling me Skooma ain't legal in Skyrim? Guess I'd better move that stash of 5 bottles I've got stored in Jorrvaskr. I'm going to be PISSED if I get back there and god damn Farkas drank all my dragon juice.
Pretty much anytime Jeff's voice raises above an indoor talking level, funny things will be said. His style of humor has shifted somewhat since way back then, but I still think he's a hell of a funny guy.
The guys that run giant bomb do it for a living. To continue doing what they do, they need to be paid to do it. To be paid, they need some kind of business model. Yeah, it's a shame a lot of the new video features get locked out to non-subscribers, but I get the feeling they aren't doing it just to milk out a few more dollars. They're doing what they need to to keep these sites running.
I've seen people post all over the place things to the same effect as "Battlefield deserves to be bigger than Call of Duty" I'm just curious to hear some of the reasoning behind this
