I really liked the first game, but the only thing I remember about it was the quick draw shootout mechanics. Everything else, including the story and characters, is completely lost to me.

What a load of crap. My take on this? He was disappointed that no one took him seriously or cared about his sitdown, posted on his site what was on his mind after 30 days, and now feels ashamed about it so he's trying to cover it up.
