Blog.

So it is Friday night; I can't really be bothered to do a single thing, my back hurts, and I'm pretty knackered. Good pretext for a blog, right?

So right now I waiting for Ubuntu to update to 11.4, which with my shitty internet is going to take a while, and listening to Tyler, The Creator's new album; Goblin. Yes I know it isn't technically out yet, but shush, I am buying it the day it is released, which according to him was meant to be today for Europe, but that seemingly doesn't include the UK :( The album itself is brilliant: a wonderful mixture of his brand of curse laden, metaphor heavy lyrics; self-composed beats, high production value, and well placed guest performances. Obviously, if you're opposed to rap music, heavy cursing, or rapping about taboo issues, then this definitely isn't for you. But if you can see past that, and really listen to the lyrics I am sure you'll be able to see how much of a genius this guy is, especially as he's only 20. THAT'S YOUNGER THAN ME. I still can't get over that fact. I'll include some Youtube videos of his stuff at the bottom of this, for all your convenience. Also, if you like bullshit faggot rap like Drake and Lil Wayne I highly doubt this is your kind of thing.

Hmm, what else. Recently I got back into Team Fortress 2, not sure why, I just fancied a game last Friday, and have played most days since, shitty router issues permitting that is. I'm still not that good at that game, but even if you suck it is still quite a fun game. Found myself a number of Crates too, not opened one yet though, £2 for the key, not for me. Especially as I am sure once you've bought one key you'll forever be buying hats as they come out.

Speaking of hats, I got two hats for pre-purchasing Mount and Blade: with Fire and Sword, as part of the complete collection that was on Steam Sale last Weekend. Man I have been addicted to Warband this past week too. Damn man that game is addictive. I still don't have my own Castle, but I'm getting there. I'll start up the new one soon, or I may save it for when I have nothing to do some time later in the year and just let myself be taken in by it for a week or so.

What else is new? Umm, the Witcher 2 is out soon. Good god am I excited for that game. It's going to be amazing, it really is.

I went to get a cup of tea and consequently lost the 'flow' of my writing.

Ummm TV. So currently I am watching the final series of 24. I literally do not know what I am going to do when that is over, there is going to be an un-fillable hole in my life. 24 is the greatest 'thing' I have watched/played/listened to (as in it is the best piece of entertainment) and I am going to miss it so much when it is over.

Recently I watched through the mini series Spartacus: Gods of the Arena; now while that isn't the most refined piece of televisual entertainment you'll ever watch, it was darned enjoyable, and I am waiting for it and the full series that came before it to be available on DVD over here. I was lucky enough to be able to watch them on demand via SkyPlayer, which I am glad exists.

Also via Skyplayer I have been able to watch Game of Thrones at the same time as you Americans, thanks to the brilliant addition of Sky Atlantic, which just airs HBO shows. That is also a great show, great setting, great premise, and it has Sean Bean :D

And lastly the Walking Dead. Another great American show, slow moving, and the constant friggin' advertisement breaks branded with Rage ads going in and out of each damn break, man that has ruined that game for me; but it is enjoyable nonetheless.

This has taken far too long to write, due to my lack of writing skills and the fact that I keep forgetting to write things. But here we are, the things in the last week or so of my life, things I want to write about on here anyway.

Thanks if you read this, but I don't know why you would. BYE.

Alex.

Liar.

yea warband is pretty addictive,It took me forever to get my own castle, sieges are really difficult ive found. I also loved the Walking Dead, a fantastic show. Im looking forward to another season, but I feel like the 1st season being so short, they we're able to mkae it a much tighter story, the next season might lose that.

Next time, a title other than "Blog." would probably attract more attention =P
