@AlexW00d: In spite of the fact that he made that mistake, I still think he's partially correct. This problem seems very similar to the hardware accelerated text rendering issues in Firefox 4.0. Check to see if you have any hardware acceleration enabled.

You know what. I had GPU Accelerated Canvas 2D enabled in about:flags and disabling did actually stop the fuzziness. But I have had that enabled for numerous months prior to this, so I can only assume something in the frontpage code has changed for this to happen? But awesome, it looks normal again. Thank you. (text won't unbold)

If Sweep wants to lock this with a cute cat picture I will be more than happy...

Pretty sure it's the way that Firefox applies anti aliasing to text. Or something to do with rendering, I forget. Will Smith posted an extension on Twitter about a month ago that allows you to change it but I can't remember what that is.
Using Chrome man. It has only just starting happening. Literally an hour ago, so I haven't changed any settings. And it is literally only on the homepage.

Man I can't tell if that would make me all kinds of dizzy or not. But it's pretty cool.

And yeah, very good run.

I really hate the soundtrack to it, it all sounds the same, apart from the token Glamour of the Kill song (lol). Which is a shame. But I am glad other people really like it.

Tbh your PS3 is just getting old. Of course more of the older SKUs are crappy out more than newer ones, that's how it was before 3.61 and how it will be with 3.62/3/4/5/6/7 etc

WiFi won't cost you anything, other than what it does anyway, 3G will cost the same as before. A data plan is like a fiver man. Do it.

Chrome 12.0.742.68
W7 Ultimate x64

The title says it all really. The homepage text become really fuzzy once everything has loaded. Whilst it is loading and the only text I see if the "Duder, thanks for supporting" message it is fine, but when It all loads it goes all fuzzy, like I am using a HDTV instead of a monitor. (i'm not) Also this is literally only on the homepage, so it can't be my PC/Browser... Can it?

Screen shots.  (I've linked to full screen screen shots as they are 1920*1080 so a 600*600 version of looks bad regardless.)

Close up fuzzy.
Close up fuzzy.

I'm not entirely sure if this is GB's end or my end... But it makes the front page really hard to view without screwing my eyes up. Any help would be lovely. THANKS.

Opinion's and views are different. An opinion is whether or not you like something, think it is cool, etc. Not whether you think L.A. Noire looks like a PS2 game. Which it does, prick. ;D

@awe_stuck: It's not running on Rockstar's RAGE engine, the engine they used was coded from scratch. I think the only third party tech it uses is Havok. But everything uses Havok...

@GetEveryone: Yeah I was at the point I am guessing you're at when I wrote this. They could probably have handled it a bit better, cos it literally felt like the same case 5 times over, but I definitely liked what they did with it. Or at least, the idea of what they did with it.

@sarahsdad: Mhmm I agree with you there. It really didn't fit together all too well. Which is a shame.

Just for the record, I was really wanting to like this game. But I think after all the overly positive reviews I was expecting a much much better game. This is usually why I try to avoid reviews...
