Capcom can fuck right off for getting rid of the weekly 2500FM challenge mission! That was the one reason I had been logging into the game for the last couple of years, just to do that mission so I could get a costume piece every week.
Netflix just added Hi-Score Girl. Not the biggest fan of the animation style and character designs, but I can't hate a show that gives the Turbografx 16 so much love.
Damn you, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Sempai! You just keep finding new ways to punch me in the heart every week!!! If A Place Further than the Universe hadn't come out this year, it would have definitely been my favorite show of 2018.
God of War, Persona 5, and the last 4 Assassins Creed games come to mind but I'm sure there's more. It just seems the older I get, the less likely I am to finish 30 plus hour long games, although I'll still get through some occasionally.
The thing with Goblin Slayer is that it starts like that and then actually begins to build out the characters. At least in the anime, the goblin rape is limited to the first episode and then a flashback to an event in his life. Although the series is based on an actual D&D style campaign, so it leans into most of those things, but a lot of it is based on how he creatively used the "rules" of the setting to do things he isn't supposed to, much like D&D players bending the rules to do something clever with a spell or magic item.
I definitely went into the first couple of episodes going "LOL edgelord trash!" but now I'm genuinely invested in it.
I just finished the final season of Voltron: Legendary Defender and it really turned out to be an amazing series. If season 7 went full Macross, then season 8 turned into goddamn Gurren Lagann!
