This year has been ridiculous for anime. A Place Further than the Universe, Laid Back Camp, Asobi Asobase, Chio's School Road, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Sempai, and Zombieland Saga have all become favorites of mine.

Do you like fun? Because the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is one of the most joyful and educational things ever.

Plus another vote for Moon Knight. All New Wolverine (the one where X-23 takes up the mantle) is also quite good, but sometimes gets caught up in crossover shenanigans.

So Evangelion is coming to Netflix next spring, both the original series and the first two movies (from the 90s, not the 1.0 etc ones). Looks like it should be the remastered version that was released in Japan on bluray.

What the hell is happening this season?!? How did Zombieland Saga go from a goofy zombie idol anime to one of the most touching and heartfelt shows of the year?!? 2018 has seriously been a good year for anime.

For coming off as such a fun, lighthearted show, the two most recent episodes of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime really punched me in my feelings...

Well it's a Fantasy Flight game, so they absolutely love their tokens and markers. Granted, you can proxy them all, but the game uses the 6 keys, ember tokens, and damage tokens for the creatures, and those come in the starter box.

I watched some friends play and it looked pretty fun, but it's sold out everywhere here at the moment. Amazon has decks coming back into stock soon and hopefully our game shop will be getting the starter set back next week.

I don't know if there is going to be a playable digital version of the game, but part of it is that you scan the decks into an app that tracks their performance, and then can handicap decks since the random deck format could potentially have some unbalanced combos.

But does this mean "not at E3" as in "nothing from Sony at all in 2019," or will they just be having their own event at a different venue that week like others have started doing?
