That Last Night game was pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it was because of some particular atmosphere or if it was just the music. In terms of cyperpunk it was fairly tame.

I find it super interesting to hear pitches from designers in the industry. For some reason, I find it really cool to just listen to their ideas and try to wrap my mind around the concept and their vision, and I can't help but wish for their success. What I'm saying is that I'd be a terribly generous investor.
It's honestly the contracting, QA testing, cert, and physical rewards that kill them. But they can't do the character development completely in-house. Contracting and QA testing is dependent on the market and cert is just a pain in the ass. Maybe they could save on the physical reward production?
Judging from the public reaction though, I'd say it's smarter to just bury your costs...

@danmann861: The problem lies in games that emulate console experiences, but without the 2nd analog stick. I believe Jeff wants games that don't feel hampered by the lack of another analog stick.
