I main Mercy and I think you did a good job of summing about what I've learned about her without going into maps and specific character combinations. I would caution use of the blaster though. As surprisingly powerful as it is, it still isn't a hit scan weapon so boosting a McCree or Soldier is probably a wiser choice in most situations. I used it mostly against stationary targets, like an ulting Pharah or trying to break the enemy Reinhardts shield.

I've been trying to learn Lucio, and I think this guide will definitely help. I've been trying to get a feel for when to heal/speed and seeing the numbers I have to say I've been healing to much. One question though. Do you think its valid for a Lucio to go back to spawn to get respawning players back in to the action quicker?

I'm gonna miss seeing/hearing him in all Beast content, but I look forward to seeing him write again.

It opens with the greatest first hour of any game. And then it gets Cagey (tm).

Pretty much. I remember playing it when it came out and being blown away by the promise of the introduction.

Man, this is a real bummer to put it mildly. Austin really brought some life back to GB and to be honest he is probably the reason I'm still a subscriber.

The final confrontation was really inspired in both mechanics and cruelty and I loved it. What a season.

Really excited to see the higher production shift back to Dungeon World though.

Yeah, I feel like I learned two things from this season of Friends at the Table:

1. Austin is a mean person

2. When you are a GM, that is sometimes OK

Needless to say, I'm going to try to apply this knowledge to the game I'm currently running for my friends.

Overall, I was really impressed with Austin's style of running the game. His understanding of how the mechanics of the various games they were playing and his confidence in his ability to to weave together a coherent story of those random die rolls... It's really inspiring.

The final episode was pretty intense. I had to pause it when Cass died, otherwise I might have started crying in public.

And yeah Lazer Ted. And the timing for Keith to miss the finals scene with Tower. And pretty much every other scene. I really like the first season, but Counter/Weight is such an achievement in co-op improvised storytelling. Like, I will probably listen to it many times in the years to come. I miss all the characters already.

The one criticism I have is that the faction game episodes felt kind of overwhelming. At the end of those episodes it was hard to remember what the different factions had done, and how they might affect the ground game. I loved all the scenes they did though. All those characters added a lot to the world.

I kind of feel bad about not being able to contribute to the community at all. There has been so much great fan art and I wish I could give something back but I'm neither a good artist nor a good enough writer to create anything.

It's kind of weird that I don't have anyone to share this with IRL. I just want to share this amazing thing with everyone, but "hey you should listen to 80 hours of this space anime RPG" is a difficult proposition.

I hope they do a post mortem (probably after E3 I imagine). Otherwise, I guess I'll see you in Hieron.

I don't know how much work they did on the temples for the remakes, but (and I say this as someone who thinks Majora's Mask is the second best Zelda Game) the first two temples in that game are probably the worst in the series. It gets better though. The third temple is decent, and the final temple is really good. But if you find that the good stuff about MM (the sidequests, the atmosphere) isn't enough to balance the scales for you, you might just want to pass on it.
